Barnes worked in the UA’s marketing department before moving into fundraising. She was promoted to senior associate athletic director for administration and major gifts in 2011, a position she held for two years.

Erika Barnes, who served in the University of Arizona athletic department for 20-plus years, has launched a consulting firm, EB7, to help athletic programs and student-athletes navigate a changing world.
