If you are caught in a dust storm Department of Public Safety officials reccommend the following steps:
• Slow down.
• Exit the highway at the nearest offramp and get as far away from the road as possible.
• Turn off the car’s lights and take your foot off the brake.
• Stay in your vehicle with seat belts fastened.
