Few have enjoyed a better start to the high school football season than Tucson High coach Justin Argraves. Over the summer he learned that he and his wife, Lindsey, will be parents of their first child, a girl, in December. Then the Badgers ended a 22-year losing streak to Salpointe Catholic on Friday, the same week he learned that his father, Santa Rita High girls basketball coach Mike Argraves, was found to be cancer free after a long struggle with lung cancer. Six years ago, Argraves took over a THS football team coming off seven consecutive losing seasons. He has since gone 35-22 and although the remaining schedule is imposing, with games against Ironwood Ridge, Cienega and Mountain View, Argraves is already a big winner.
