The Pac-12 would be wise to follow the ACC’s decision to expand the conference season to 20 games (in 2019). That much hit home last week when the Pac-12 announced its 2016-17 conference schedule; Arizona does not play Oregon in Tucson, or Utah in Salt Lake City. Those are two of the marquee games of the year that fans won’t get to see. Instead, the league is stuffed with cupcake after cupcake in bloated home nonconference schedules.Â
