Tucson police released a list of safety tips for people filling up at gas stations.
• Pay cash when purchasing gas, if possible.
• If you pay with a debit card, pay inside the store with the clerk.
• Monitor all bank activity and financial statements.
• If you notice unauthorized transactions on your financial statements or with your bank accounts, contact the bank immediately then file a police report if necessary.
