If you hate Bill Walton announcing Arizona basketball games — and there doesn't seem to be any middle ground on this topic — you can finally do something more than complaining about him to your family and Facebook friends.
A change.org petition entitled, "Ban Bill Walton from announcing Arizona basketball games" is close to its goal of 1,000 signatures. The petition, directed at ESPN and Pac-12 Networks, garnered about 800 supporters in four days.
"Bill Walton is the worst commentator to ever announce University of Arizona basketball games. Die-hard fans across the nation mute their televisions to avoid constant inane 'Waltonisms,'" writes creator Joel Laos. "Please help me make Arizona basketball watchable again by keeping Walton away."
