The Crime Free Multi-Housing Program partners property owners, residents and law enforcement personnel in an effort to eliminate crime in multi-housing properties. The new owners of Cinnamon Square Apartments participated in the program when they made improvements to their property. The free program has three phases: a daylong workshop for landlords, an on-site security inspection and a meeting with tenants. On some properties that have implemented the program, crime has been reduced by up to 70 percent.
