Only 34, Brase coached the NBA D-League’s Rio Grande Valley Vipers to a 29-21 record, fifth best in the league, and to the playoffs. The former Catalina Foothills, Central Arizona College and UA basketball player is in his sixth year in the Houston Rockets system.
