Notable achievement: Beard, a six-time All-American, was the 2000 NCAA runner-up in the 200 breaststroke and won the 2001 NCAA individual title in the 200 breaststroke. She also notched a Pac-10 championship in the 200 breaststroke in 2000 and had eight top-5 finishes at NCAAs.
