A heavy rain washed away much of the snow over the Palouse on Thursday afternoon and nobody was happier about it than Ryan Reynolds, the UA’s director of basketball operations.
He’s the guy responsible for getting the Wildcats in and out of Pullman, which involved a pregame bus ride from Spokane and a postgame bus ride to Lewiston, Idaho, where a charter jet was scheduled to take the UA to Seattle at some point before midnight.
The temperature hovered just above 40 degrees, making sure the white stuff was going away, not arriving.
“When you see snow as the ops guy, it makes you nervous,” Reynolds said.
