Arizona Daily Star file photoAs a relatively unknown sophomore, Cecil was named Pac-10 player of the week for the first time in a 20-8 victory, recovering a fumble in the end zone, intercepting a pass and batting down a 2-point conversion attempt. He did all of that with a heavily-bandaged broken left thumb.
