Wearing a wedding dress, Ashley Hill pauses to take photos of fellow revelers as they partake in the festivities during the 2013 All Souls Procession. Inspired by Mexico's Dia de los Muertos, the event has become a Tucson tradition almost since its beginning in 1990 as a performance piece. Thousands of participants and visitors flock to the downtown area to witness costumed characters, huge puppets and other various displays of personal expression. Some participants go to the procession to acknowledge a deceased loved one or an important event in their lives. A new route was chosen for the procession this year beginning at North Sixth Avenue and East Sixth Street, winding its way west along Alameda Street and finally ending on West Congress near the Mercado San Agustin. There the finale includes a stage show featuring music and theatrics. Photo was taken on Sunday, November 3, 2013, in Tucson, Ariz. Photo by A.E. Araiza/ Arizona Daily Star
