Re: the Aug. 29 letter to the editor “Count liberals among the haters.”
Having observed Donald Trump intensely for two years, this liberal’s feelings for the man are sadness, not hatred. The Greek myth of Narcissus warns that excessive self-regard can be painful for a person. When the person has governmental power, it can be painful, and sad, for his constituents.
