UNLV overview

The Rebels are unranked, with only six Division I wins, but they might have the most talent of any team the Wildcats have faced this season. While they lost NBA players Rashad Vaughn and Christian Wood off the team that beat Arizona last season, UNLV brought in another well-regarded recruiting class along with well-regarded four-year transfers in point guard Jerome Seagears and forward Ben Carter. The Rebels are aggressive, long and athletic, with the scoring-minded Seagears at the point and multi-skilled freshman Stephen Zimmerman in the low post. UNLV has have generally held their own against Pac-12 competition so far, beating Oregon at the MGM Grand Garden (site of the Pac-12 Tournament), losing to UNLV by two points at the Maui Invitational but losing to ASU 66-56 on Wednesday at the Thomas and Mack Center.
