The new Circle K going in on South Sixth Avenue, just south of Interstate 10, will feature a larger format you may have noticed at mega-Circle K's in the Phoenix area.
Although Circle K won't release any details about the Tucson store, the newer stores in the Phoenix area are 4,400 square feet with eight to 10 gas pumps, while most Tucson stores are older and smaller, said Scott Stevenson, director of real estate and development for Circle K's Arizona-Nevada region.
The store's opening is probably a few months away, he said.
