Photos: PDQ Records in Tucson closing after decades in business
One of the last remaining record stores in Tucson is closing. "With great sorrow, we are announcing that PDQ Records & Tapes is closing its doors after 40 years in business, permanently," according a post on the site's Facebook page.

Photographed in 2000, Jack Grossi, owner of PDQ records, a huge Tucson store that carries a giant selection of used, popular, unusual, hard to find records, cassettes, cds, 8 tracks. etc. Here, he's lining up a needle on an old LP. Grossi feels an LP in good contition, with good equipment, provides a better sound than an equivalent CD.
