The numbers for a record-breaking $2.04 billion Powerball jackpot have been drawn following a delay and players were awaiting the announcement of a possible winner.
Also, the word "coronavirus" in Latin does not translate to "heart attack virus," nor did archaeologists dig up a mythological tomb of Osiris. Here are the facts.
Ticket buyers for Monday’s drawing have a chance at either $900 million paid out in yearly increments or a $465.1 million, one-time lump sum before taxes.
No one managed to beat the massive odds and match all six numbers for Friday's estimated $940 million jackpot.
In Florida, winners have 60 days to claim the lump sum amount or 180 days from the date of the drawing to take the full annuity, which is paid out in annual installments.
No ticket matched all six of Saturday's winning numbers: white balls 4, 5, 28, 52, 69 and red Powerball 20.
