The third Tucson location of Paradise Bakery & Café is scheduled to open today at 4821 E. Grant Road, in the Crossroads Festival shopping center at the northeast corner of East Grant and North Swan roads.
The grand opening festivities continue through Friday, featuring giveaways while supplies last.
The company said the new cafe will be the first in Tucson to feature a "four seasons" room - an interior space where the doors can be opened as an extension to the patio when the weather is nice. The entire restaurant can accommodate more than 90 guests inside and an additional 33 on the patio.
Paradise held sneak-preview fundraising luncheons at the new location Friday and Saturday to benefit El Rio Community Health Centers.
Traditional Bakery Inc., a Springfield, Mo.-based franchisee of Paradise Bakery owner Panera Bread, operates the new eatery as well as the other two local cafes, at 4362 N. Oracle Road and 6129 E. Broadway.
