Tierra Antigua Realty and La Ventana Realty announced Wednesday that they have entered into an agreement folding La Ventana’s operations into Tierra Antigua.
Tierra Antigua said it is the largest locally owned and operated real estate brokerage in Tucson and Southern Arizona, with more than 800 agents.
La Ventana Realty has more than 60 full- and part-time real estate agents in Southern Arizona.
Its operation will fold into Tierra Antigua’s three local offices, and La Ventana will no longer exist, the companies said. The transition is expected to be completed by the end of the month.
"With recent changes in the housing market and the slowing of the economy more and more businesses are consolidating, making them more efficient and allowing them to become stronger in a challenging environment," Ventana owners Charles and Anna Blue said in a statement.
