Northwest Medical Center has opened a $7.8 million urgent-care center in the Catalina Foothills at the corner of North Hacienda del Sol and East Sunrise Drive.
La Paloma Urgent Care Center, 4001 E. Sunrise Drive, started treating patients Tuesday and is open daily from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
The complex includes urgent-care facilities, laboratory and X-ray services, mobile digital mammography and doctors' offices. Four physicians have located there so far, including two who specialize in internal medicine, one in obstetrics/gynecology and one in family practice. Their offices will be open from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
The facility, Northwest Medical's fourth urgent-care center, is 18,000 square feet, with 4,000 square feet available for future expansion.
