Startup Weekend Tucson, part of a national series of events in which budding entrepreneurs try to take business ideas from concept to launch in 54 hours, takes place this weekend.
Participants have been chosen, but the public can attend a “Shark Tank” final event from 5:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Rialto Theatre, 318 E. Congress St. Similar to the TV show, Shark Tank participants will pitch their ideas to a mock panel of investors.
The event is sponsored by Startup Tucson and Connect Coworking, a new cooperative workspace in the Rialto block.
