The Pinal County Assessor’s Office is accepting applications through Sept. 1 for its Senior Property Valuation Protection program, also known as the “Senior Freeze.”
The program allows Pinal County to freeze the full cash value of a residence to allow people on low or fixed incomes to keep their property taxes from rising too much.
It’s available for any primary residence where at least one property owner is 65 or older and the total gross income of all owners falls below a set limit.
Once approved, valuations are frozen for three years. For more information, call 1-520-866-6363.
