The Super Target store at 4400 N. Oracle Road is set to open in October, but a spokeswoman said most of the staff positions will be offered to employees of the Target that was closed and demolished to make room for the new, larger store.
Spokeswoman Heather Christensen said more employees will be needed and that applications can be made for those jobs and all Target jobs at computer kiosks at any Target store.
The Super Target will have groceries, with fresh produce, a bakery and deli counter, as well as the line of products carried by a regular Target, she said.
