Tucson-based High Throughput Genomics Inc. announced the opening of a second location in Madison, Wis., this week.
The Madison office will open with a three-person staff, and will be managed by Jonathan Sheridan, newly appointed vice president of commercial operations.
Sheridan, previously director of sales and corporate development for Epicenter Biotechnologies, will oversee the development of new business partnerships and will also manage the global commercial sales and marketing teams.
With more than 20 years experience in the biotech field, Sheridan will "play an instrumental role" as HTG expands its operations, CEO Tim Johnson said in a statement.
HTG makes special high-capacity sample plates for rapid chemical screening in genetic testing, along with related imaging equipment, for companies involved in gene-based drug discovery.
