Tucson Spectrum, which is home to more than 50 stores, including popular stores like Sports Authority. Tilly's and Target, is preparing for a new tenant.
New digs are being built for Old Navy, the newest big retailer to join the southwest-side's open-air retail center.
The 15,039-square-foot clothing store will open in a building between Sports Authority and Kirkland's.
Old Navy has three other stores in Tucson - at Park Place, Foothills Mall and Tucson Mall.
Developers and Old Navy's parent company, Gap Inc., did not return phone calls or emails about an official opening date, but a banner hanging in front of the store says it will be opening "soon."
Tucson Spectrum is on the southwest corner of I-19 and Irvington Road.
