Tucson-based MC Technologies LLC, which provides environmental information management systems, has begun delivery of systems and programs designed to safeguard hazardous chemicals at all U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs hospitals in Arizona, New Mexico, and parts of West Texas and California.
Under a $689,323 contract award, MC Technologies will bring the VA hospitals into compliance with federal hazardous materials handling regulations for industrial and healthcare facilities, the company said.
In Tucson, all hospitals in the Carondelet Health Network and the UPH Hospital at Kino Campus are subscribers to MC Technologies' safety-management software and services, the company said.
