Gas prices continued their descent this week, with the average price of a gallon of regular gas in Arizona tumbling about a nickel to $3.34 on Friday, according to AAA Arizona.
The national average fell nearly 6 cents to $3.36 on Friday.
Tucson and Flagstaff had the state’s lowest and highest average fuel averages at $3.24 and $3.58 per gallon, respectively.
Fuel prices in every region in Arizona have fallen below last month’s and even last year’s prices, and the switchover to cheaper winter-blend gas boosted the savings, AAA said.
