A Safeway grocery store opened Wednesday at 10380 E. Broadway, returning to the same building it occupied before the location was sold to Haggen in 2015.
Albertsons, Safeway’s parent company, reacquired the store at Broadway and Houghton Road after Haggen filed for bankruptcy last year.
The location features a bakery, an olive bar, a pharmacy and a Starbucks, along with deli, floral, liquor, produce and seafood departments.
Store hours are 5 a.m. to 11 p.m. daily. Pharmacy hours are 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Mondays through Fridays, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturdays and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sundays. For more information, call 546-3929.
