Tandy Leather Factory opened its first retail store in Tucson at 6061 E. Broadway on Wednesday, the company said in a press release.
The company said the new retail store will be a “nice complement” to the Tandy Leather wholesale store already operating at 3651 E. 44th St., CEO Ron Morgan said in the release.
The company is based in Fort Worth, Texas, and specializes in leather, leather-working tools, belts, buckles, leather dyes and finishes, saddle and tack hardware, and do-it-yourself kits.
The new Tucson location brings the number of Tandy Leather Factory retail stores to 74. Tandy Leather Factory plans to open three more stores in other locations this year.
