A holiday pop-up store called the Sunshine Shop opens Thursday, Nov. 17, in the former Hirsh’s Shoes building at 2934 E. Broadway. Kathy McMahon, of Midcenturyville, brings a side table into the Sunshine Shop Tucson located at 2934 E. Broadway Blvd. The shop is a pop-up store for the holiday season in the former Hirsh’s Shoes building. There will be mid-century modern furniture, smaller items and local contemporary art. Patricia Katchur, owner of Yikes Toy Store, has leased the front portion of the building to set up the Sunshine Shop. The Tucson Historic Preservation Foundation owns the building. The store will open on November 17.
