After more than 40 years on Fourth Avenue, How Sweet It Was Vintage has moved around the corner.
The new space at 424 E. Sixth Street, which dates from the 1940s, previously was home to Toxic Ranch Records and was the original location of Etherton Gallery.
Owner Crissy Burgstaler, who bought the vintage clothing shop a few years ago after working there 14 years, said the building provides a better fit and has increased storefront exposure.
Though the shop is now open at its new address, it will host a grand reopening party from 7 to 10 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 3.
