More than 200 students signed up for this year's Connecting Art and Science themed event, about one-third of the school's total K-6th grade enrollment, plus one ninth grader, a handful of middle school alumni and a few parents as well. "It's a community effort, an event to show off our art skills and show off our campus," said art teacher Alicia Marrano. The art usually lasts about a week before succumbing to the foot traffic at the school. Winners will be judged and printed in a calendar.
