Your turn results: Arizona's fan-selected top 10 moments from the 2013-14 season

We asked, you delivered. Almost 500 fans responded, and here's what you selected as the top-10 moments of the 2013-2014 Arizona Wildcats season in which they broke records, knocked on the Final Four's door and finished 33-5. We present the moments from the 10th best, Arizona's win over Utah for 20 in a row, to the top moment, when Arizona became the country's No. 1 team.

Arizona outlasts Utah, wins 20th straight game

  • What: Arizona falls behind early, holds off Utah for school-record 20th straight win
  • When: Jan. 29, 2014
  • Detail: In a season full of accomplishments for the Wildcats, this was a big one. Arizona's road win over Utah gave it 20 wins in a row, one more than the record first set in 1992-93 and tied in 1997-98. The Cats would go on to win 21 straight before finally dropping a game.

Wildcats stuff Washington State in epic fashion

  • What: Arizona oppresses Cougars 60-25 in Pac-12 opener
  • When: Jan. 2, 2014
  • Detail: In the most dominant game of a dominant defense's season, Arizona held Washington State to 20 percent shooting (a McKale Center record), nine total field goals (also a McKale Record) and 25 points (12 better than the previous McKale Center record). Arizona hammers USC for best start

  • What: Arizona sets record for best start in school history at 17-0
  • When: Jan. 12, 2014
  • Detail: Against lowly USC, which finished the season 2-16 in conference play, Arizona took care of business to run its record to 17-0 and break the record for best start to a season.

Arizona seals No. 1 seed for Pac-12 tourney

  • What: Arizona clinches Pac-12 with win over Stanford
  • When: March 2, 2014
  • Detail: Aaron Gordon had 19 points and 15 rebounds as the Wildcats capped a trio of blowout wins with the Pac-12's regular-season title, the 13th Pac-12/10 title in school history and second under Sean Miller.

Arizona exacts revenge on UCLA

  • What: Arizona beats UCLA at Pauley Pavilion
  • When: Jan. 9, 2014
  • Detail: After losing to the Bruins three times in 2013, Arizona scorched the nets on the road for a win in its first conference test of the season. Nick Johnson had 22 points, and the Cats shot 53.8 percent from the field while holding off the Bruins.

The freshman phenom commits

  • What: Aaron Gordon commits to Arizona
  • When: April 2, 2013
  • Detail: After choosing Sean Miller's squad over Kentucky, Washington and Oregon, the phenomenally athletic forward said: "I hope to be the X factor" for Arizona.

Arizona makes it to Anaheim

  • What: Arizona clobbers Gonzaga, makes 16th Sweet 16
  • When: March 23, 2014
  • Detail: Behind that stellar defense, the Wildcats outran, outjumped and outdid Gonzaga in an 84-61 blowout to make Sean Miller's third Sweet 16 and the team's 16th.

Arizona moves within a step from the Final Four

  • What: Arizona rallies past San Diego State to make 10th Elite Eight
  • When: March 27, 2014
  • Detail: Despite Nick Johnson starting 0-for-10 shooting, Arizona kept the game close until Johnson could find his game. And find it he did, scoring all 15 of his points in the last 2:45 of the game as Arizona stepped to within a win of a Final Four.

Down goes Duke

  • What: Arizona, Gordon nip Duke, Parker for NIT title at Madison Square Garden
  • When: Nov. 29, 2013
  • Detail: Arizona got a balanced team effort, and freshman Aaron Gordon did his part in keeping Duke's freshman sensation Jabari Parker to an inefficient scoring night, and the Cats got their second marquee win of the season.

Arizona on top of the NCAA world

  • What: Cats earn No. 1 spot in AP poll for first time since 2003
  • When: Dec. 9, 2013
  • Detail: After beating UNLV in a tough home game, Arizona was voted into the top spot in the country for the first time in Miller tenure and since Jason Gardner, Andre Iguodala, Channing Frye and Salim Stoudamire helped lead the Cats to a No. 1 seed in the NCAA tournament in 2003.
