Hundreds gather in prayer as the Islamic Center of Tucson hosted Eid al-Fitr at the Tucson Convention Center, at 260 S. Church Ave. Eid al-Fitr is Arabic for "festival of the breaking the fast," and marks the end of fasting month of Ramadan. During the month Muslilms fast from eating and drinking during the day. The festival is celebrated with prayer then visiting friends and family along with having food parties.
