Another Erin is stepping into the Channel 13 weather-team spot that was left open when Erin Christiansen jumped ship to head up weather coverage for KGUN-TV, Channel 9.
Erin Jordan starts today as the meteorologist for "KOLD 13 News This Morning." She started with the noon newscast on Friday.
Jordan is an Ohio native with degrees in mass communications and botany from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. Like Christiansen, Jordan went through the broadcast meteorology program at Mississippi University.
The meteorologist comes to Tucson from Huntington, W.Va.
Adding Jordan to the morning news block is part of the station's push to have a "real meteorologist every newscast, every day," General Manager Jim Arnold said.
