Just in time for Halloween: Scott Kenyon Barker’s movie “The Z” get its world premiere at the Fox Tucson Theatre Thursday, Oct. 29.
Barker shot the film in Tucson. We aren’t sure how much fake blood was used, but we are sure it was a lot.
The action-horror film introduces the world to a race of super-predators: The Z. They feed on people. They cause all sorts of grief with just that one action.
But there might be hope: Protection Incorporated, a private security firm, could save the day … but only after a gruesome battle.
The premiere is 7:30 p.m. at the Fox, 17 W. Congress St. Expect a red carpet, spooky cocktails, the actors, directors, a Q&A session after the screening and, of course, plenty of screaming.
