I was reading about two films that sound interesting to me and wonder if you knew (as you usually do) when they might be coming to the Old Pueblo. I'm looking forward to "Gran Torino" and "The Wrestler."

"Gran Torino," Clint Eastwood's urban drama in which he plays a cranky old guy who steps in to help neighbors cope with gang violence, opens Friday. "The Wrestler," starring Mickey Rourke as a down-and-out pro wrestler hoping to stage a comeback, is slated to arrive Jan. 23.
Both movies opened in New York and Los Angeles late last year to be eligible for the Oscars. They're both on my top 10 list for 2008.
