Terrence McNally's "Sweet Eros" is next up for Live Theatre Workshop's Etcetera, its late night series.
The play is only an hour long. But, oh my, what an hour.
"Sweet Eros" is the story of Young Man who has had trouble in relationships and comes to the conclusion that most people don't like to be loved.
The sick guy somehow figures he can create the perfect woman to resolve that problem, and kidnaps a girl to see if his theory works. Danielle Dryer directs.
Performances are 10:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday nights through May 31 at Live theatre Workshop, 5317 E. Speedway. Tickets are $11, with discounts available. Call 327-4242 for reservations.
