Raise a glass to the annular solar eclipse and new moon just before sunset on Sunday at Sky Bar, which is offering happy hour all day and night. A solar telescope will be available.
The astronomy-themed bar at 536 N. Fourth Ave. has open-to-close happy hours (that's 9 a.m. until 2 a.m.) and a variety of activities to celebrate celestial events through the rest of the year:
• June 4: Full moon. Partial lunar eclipse just before dawn.
• June 5-6: Transit of Venus across the sun. Solar telescope will be available.
• June 20: Summer Solstice Party with performances by the fire dancing troupe Elemental Artistry.
• July 3: Full moon.
• July 29: Delta aquarids meteor shower peak. Look in constellation Aquarius after midnight for days before and after.
