Pizzeria Vivace's got a new name — Scordato’s Pizzeria.
Though it’s been open for three years, people were still confusing the pizzeria (529-2700) with its older, sister eatery, Vivace Restaurant, which is also located in St. Philip’s Plaza at River and Campbell.
“We were just getting five, six, seven tables every shift that would say, ‘Is this Vivace?’” owner Daniel Scordato said.
Newcomers kept confusing the two. So, this week the new name went into use.
“Nothing’s changed,” Scordato said of the menu. “I just wanted my name back.”
