Borderlands Brewing Company is expanding to Saturdays.
The microbrewery, which opened in 2010, has been open for Tours and Tasting afternoons 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesdays and Fridays.
Starting this weekend, it will be open from noon to 4 p.m. Saturdays — and from noon to 7 p.m. during 2nd Saturdays Downtown.
The company currently offers six varieties, including a lager described as “perfect for desert days,” incorporating local ingredients into its beers, while following techniques that were introduced to the region by German settlers in the 1800s, according to its website.
Borderlands is located at 119 East Toole Avenue in the Warehouse Arts district of downtown .
Borderlands’ beers are served at Monkey Burger, 47 N. sixth Ave., and Dry River Company, 800 N.Kolb Road.
