Chef Steven Schultz has delayed the opening of his new Wild Garlic Grill concept near the University of Arizona. It was to have opened Friday, but will now open Wednesday after some key kitchen equipment was not delivered on time, according to his spokeswoman Anna Martinez-Ross.
The restaurant at 2530 N. First Ave. borrows from the menu of Schultz's New Red Sky and Luna Bar restaurant, which he closed last spring. But Schultz said Wild Garlic Grill will be more casual with prices not topping $15.
