Desert snow fell into the La Encantada courtyard from snow machines placed on the upper level of the mall during the 2011 Enchanted Snowfall event.

Set your watch: It’s gonna snow. At 6 p.m. and 6:45 p.m. Friday and again Saturday.
In fact, it’ll snow every Friday and Saturday at those times through Dec. 22.
Yup, it’s time for La Encantada’s annual Enchanted Snowfall when the fluffy white stuff drifts down in the courtyards of the foothills shopping center.
Shows are free and open to the public.
During the break between the 15-minute faux snowfall, musical groups will serenade the crowd with holiday tunes.
