The Hometown Buffet at 330 S. Wilmot Road will soon be home to U Like Buffet, an Asian buffet.
U-Like is owned by Daniel Lu, who opened the sprawling New Town Buffet Asian Cuisine in Marana two years ago. In addition to New Town, Lu and his family own and operate a number of Asian buffet restaurants in the Tucson area including the east-side New China Super Buffet; China Olive Super Buffet on the south side; and Grand Buffet in Midvale Park.
Tucson now has no Hometown Buffet restaurants; the other location on Oracle and River roads also is closed.
