Boca, one of Tucson's most talked about taco stands, has a new addition to its 17 taco varieties: The Sonoran hot dog taco.
It's not surprising Boca would taco-ize the Sonoran dog, the ubiquitious bacon-wrapped street food. The restaurant is renown for thinking and acting outside the box, including its Exotic Taco Wednesdays. That's when they pull out everything from eel to wild game to stuff into their tacos.
The Sonoran hot dog taco is so new its not yet listed on the restaurant's online menu. Their tacos start at $2.50 apiece and run as high as $4.25 for the Mary Tierra with ribeye and beer battered shrimp.
Boca is located at 828 E. Speedway. Hours: 11:30 a.m. to midnight Mondays through Wednesdays, until 3 a.m. Thursdays through Saturdays. On Sundays, it's open from noon to 10 p.m.
