Tapas Fusion has moved into the space formerly occupied by Elle at 2970 N. Campbell Ave., in Campbell Plaza at Glenn Street.
The venture is a partnership between longtime friends Mary Bellin and chef Violeta Rodriguez. The restaurant merges Rodriguez’s Peruvian heritage with culinary influences from Spain and Italy, where Rodriguez trained.
The menu features full-sized entrees like asparagus risotto, Peruvian rotisserie chicken and seafood ceviche ranging from $13-$20. But its centerpiece is the tapas, smaller-portion meals that are more akin to appetizers.
Tapas Fusion is open 11 a.m.-10 p.m. Tuesdays-Thursdays and 11 a.m.-midnight Fridays and Saturdays; it's closed Sundays and Mondays.
