IHOP - the most revered of all things pancake - loves October.
That's when it pulls out its always fun pumpkin pancakes and serves all-you-can-eat buttermilk pancakes. On the Friday before Halloween, kids 12 and younger can trick-or-treat at their neighborhood IHOP for a free Scary Face Pancake. That's from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. Oct. 28.
• Pumpkin pancakes, made with real pumpkin and spices and topped with whipped cream just like your favorite pumpkin pie, start at $4.99 in a combo. They are available from Oct. 3-31.
• Kids 12 and under can design their own Funny Face Pancake into a scary face.
IHOP has several Tucson locations including 4187 N. Oracle Road; 1500 W. Grant Road; and 7945 E. Broadway.
