Gail Sheehy new memoir “Daring: My Passages,” is now available in paperback.
The author of the influential 1976 best-seller “Passages,” Sheehy said she hopes to inspire young women to take risks with the book. Sheehy participated at the Tucson Festival of Books in March.
"Writing the book was truly an excavation — I re-discovered so much about myself, about the brilliant era of New York journalism that was the 1960s and '70s, and all the wonderful people I've met and been fortunate to interview over the years," Sheehy said in an email announcing the paperback's release.
She suggests giving it to a friend "who wants to make a passage but needs encouragement to take the dare."
