Sarah Hyland and Wells Adams tie the knot in California

Sarah Hyland and Wells Adams are married.

The 31-year-old actress and Wells, 38, tied the knot in an intimate ceremony at a California vineyard on Saturday (08.20.22).

The loved-up couple were joined on their big day by some of Sarah's former 'Modern Family' co-stars, including Sofia Vergara and Jesse Tyler Ferguson.

Sofia, 50, even posted some behind-the-scenes photos from the wedding on her Instagram account.

The actress - who has more than 26 million followers on the photo-sharing platform - captioned one of the images: "#sarahandwells wedding. (sic)"

Sarah and Wells have previously postponed their wedding numerous times due to the COVID-19 pandemic. But the actress finally managed to have her bridal shower in June, and they've now walked down the aisle together.

Sarah - who played Haley Dunphy in 'Modern Family' - and Wells started dating back in 2017, after she received a direct message from him on social media.

The celebrity couple got engaged in 2019, but their wedding plans were consistently disrupted by the pandemic.

Speaking in 2020, Wells explained: "There are no wedding plans.

"I think the thought was that we would originally start thinking about that around this time and now that this is happening, you know, what's the point of even trying to get something solidified with everything being just so up in the air?"

At the time, Wells ruled out having a Zoom wedding.

However, the TV star was open to the idea of having a more intimate ceremony than they'd previously intended.

Speaking about the impact of the pandemic on their wedding plans, Wells said: "If it lasts really, really long, I think then we would do like a really small backyard thing."

Demi Lovato: I'm in a really good place

Demi Lovato is "in a really good place" in her life.

The 30-year-old pop star suffered a near-fatal drug overdose in 2018, and although she knows she'll never be "completely free" of addiction, Demi is now feeling the best she has for years.

She shared: "You know that saying that you're never completely free of it [addiction]? It's true, but I don't feel like it.

"I'm in a really good place where, sometimes, I just forget about it."

Demi first found fame during her childhood, when she starred on the TV series 'Barney and Friends'.

And during a stint in rehab, she actually discovered a lot of "unresolved trauma" from her time in the spotlight.

She told the BBC: "I had learned to honour my anger rather than shoving it down, which I had been doing for quite some time."

Demi suffered a heroin overdose at her home in Los Angeles in 2018, and she recently admitted to being minutes away from death.

The 'Cool for the Summer' hitmaker also confessed that she struggled to come to terms with the severity of of the situation.

She said: "When they found me, I was turning blue and the doctor said I had five to 10 more minutes left.

"If no one had come in, I wouldn't be here today.

"Recovery is a lot. And with time, comes trust.

"It was a learning experience of, 'OK, people are going to have to learn to trust you again'.

"The only way they can do that is by you proving yourself. Not just talking but taking actions. My family is incredible. Do they worry to this day? Absolutely.

"That's never going to go away, what I put them through. As a consequence they ended up suffering."

'Serious actor' Pete Davidson

Pete Davidson is a "serious, focused actor".

The 28-year-old comedian and actor is best known for his work on comedy sketch show 'Saturday Night Live' but 'Bodies Bodies Bodies' co-star Rachel Sennott revealed she was shocked by his dramatic range.

She told Collider's Ladies Night: "Pete is someone that I went in with the most expectations of because there's so much about him online or I've seen him perform on 'SNL'. I actually was always a fan of his comedy. I saw him tape one of his specials, because they did it at [Jimmy] Kimmel at NYU and I went. I have a Facebook status from years ago that was like, 'Seeing Pete Davidson tonight!' I think he is so funny in this movie, but I also thought he really did such a great job dramatically and that impressed me a lot. And I think he really is a serious actor. He was so focused."

Meanwhile, although she is receiving rave reviews for her work in 'Bodies Bodies Bodies', Sennott admitted that are some things in her earlier career that she is embarrassed about.

She said: "I did some embarrassing things. I sent an email to the casting director of the 'Twilight' movies because I was reading the 'Twilight' books being like, 'I could be a really good background vampire.' And it's like, probably all I had to do was show up. But I was cold emailing people as a child. And honestly, sometimes a cold email works! So I think when I was a kid, I just wanted any way to break in, because I think that if you don't come from the world of the industry, it's sort of mystical where you're like, 'How do I even get in there?'"

Right Said Fred singer Fred Fairbrass admits to drug dealing before finding music fame

Right Said Fred singer Fred Fairbrass turned to drug dealing before finding fame in music.

The musician, 65, who formed the band with singer brother Richard, 68, says he sold cocaine and amphetamines from his minicab to prostitutes and revellers.

He later made millions with Richard after releasing 1991 single 'I'm Too Sexy', but has told if his past in London the group's new autobiography 'Still Too Sexy: Surviving Right Said Fred'.

Fred said: "I used to sell speed and coke. I was a minicab driver in Fulham in 1982, and I used to work nights, and a bloke in the house I was living in was an amphetamine cook.

"So I used to buy a couple of grams here and there, firstly to keep awake, but then I had customers that wanted to buy it. I could deal in the car.

"I was useful because I ended up selling amphetamines from my cab.

I worked nights, because the party crowd and hookers were more than happy to buy my drugs. That paid my way very nicely.

"Although I was driving around with grams of speed on me, London felt quite anarchic back then, so it didn't cross my mind that it was illegal.

"Fortunately I was never robbed or busted."

Former filmmaker Fred also admitted he gave a movie crew drugs to get them to work late.

He added: "It was much cheaper to give the crew a couple of lines of coke so that they'd work late, rather than get a new crew in to work overnight".

Fred and Richard were running a gym when they wrote their debut single mimicking bodybuilders and claimed they made more than £10 million from 'I'm Too Sexy'.

Fred is now said to be worth around £4 million, with Richard previously saying the band received £4million when Taylor Swift used the melody of 'I'm Too sexy' on her 2017 song 'Look What You Made Me Do'.

Ricky Gervais 'increases personal security at gigs in wake of Sir Salman Rushdie knife attack'

Ricky Gervais is said to have increased his personal security at his stand-up shows in the wake of the knife attack on Sir Salman Rushdie.

The 61-year-old comedian has reportedly taken the measure as he continues to perform a series of intimate shows at London's Leicester Square Theatre to trial new material ahead of his next tour and Netflix special 'Armageddon'.

The Sun On Sunday says the "concerned" stand-up last week added more members to his "small team" of guards in the wake of the stabbing of Rushdie, 75, in New York on August 12 as the controversial 'Satanic Verses' author prepared to give a lecture.

A source told The Sun On Sunday: "Ricky isn't taking any chances. He has employed his own security guards for the gigs so he can have a laugh and relax in the knowledge that he's safe.

"He hasn't wasted any expense. They're the real deal and are positioned in the aisles and around the stage, keeping a close eye on audience members.

"The venue is also doing a lot for general safety as audience members are to be searched before entry and no glasses or bottles are to be served by the venue. It seems like everyone is taking precautions. It's necessary in these times."

Ricky was under fire earlier this year when he joked about transgender people in his Netflix SuperNature show - with US LGBTQ rights group Glaad calling it "dangerous".

It came after American comic Dave Chappelle, 48, was attacked on stage in May by a knife-wielding man.

Ricky, who lives in an £11 million mansion in Hampstead, north West London, with his long-term writer partner Jane Fallon, 61, said he still has 20 minutes of his upcoming show to finalise.

Rushdie is still recovering after being left with a damaged liver and severed nerves in an arm and one eye.

Hadi Matar, 24, who was arrested for the attack, has denied attempted murder.

Joni Mitchell hoping to record music again after 'losing her confidence'

Joni Mitchell's ex-husband Larry Klein says the veteran singer is hoping to return to the studio to record new music.

The 78-year-old singer suffered a brain aneurysm in 2015 which left her unable to talk or walk for some time but last month she returned to the stage for her first full show since 2000 at the Newport Folk Festival in Rhode Island - and her former spouse Larry says she's been keen to return to music.

He told Mojo magazine: "She's been working her way to regain all sorts of things, and she's been wanting to sing again, she just hadn't gotten to the point where she had the confidence to go into the studio."

When asked if Joni will ever record any new music, he replied: "I wouldn't be surprised (if she records new music). She's a hard worker.

"She's working at regaining the ability to play guitar, and what that means is that she'll start experimenting, and who knows what's going to come with that?"

Larry was a session guitarist who met Joni while working on her 1982 record 'Wild Things Run Fast' and they became romantically involved during their time together and married by the end of the year.

They split while putting together the singer's 1984 album 'Turbulent Indigo' but continued to work together after the divorce.

After Joni made her comeback at the festival in July, she revealed it was the first time she felt nervous about performing.

Speaking to CBS News after the show, she said: "I've never been nervous about being in front of an audience, but I wanted to be good and I wasn't sure that I could be. But I didn't sound too bad tonight. "I think having a brush with death like that kind of softens people to me."

Joni retaught herself how to play guitar by watching online tutorials.

She said: "I'm learning. I'm looking at videos that are on the net to see where I put my fingers. It's amazing what an aneurysm knocks out-- how to get out of a chair, you don't know how to get out of a bed. ...

Going back to infancy, almost. You have to relearn everything. "

Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez tie knot at huge wedding ceremony in actor's Georgia mansion surrounded by family, friends and A-listers

Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez have tied the knot in a huge wedding ceremony at his $8.9 million Georgia mansion surrounded by family, friends and celebrity friends.

The event came after the couple got married in Las Vegas in July, with the pair followed down the aisle at the property by close friends and family, including Ben's children from his ex-wife Jennifer's third husband Marc Anthony, though the 'Batman' actor's former spouse was not there.

Ben and JLo, known as 'Bennifer', set out a massive white carpet with Lopez, 53, in a white Ralph Lauren couture gown complete with long train and veil, while Ben, 50, wore a black and white tuxcedo.

Photographs showed the pair hugging at a waterside jetty at the mansion, with a

fireworks display from a lake in the property scheduled to finish the night's event son Friday. (20.08.22)

It comes 20 years after the couple dated and got engaged, only to call off their nuptials in 2003.

Guests included Ben's three children from his marriage to 50-year-old Jennifer - Violet, 16, Seraphina, 13, and 11-year-old Sam- while JLo's twins, Emme and Max, 14, she had with Marc Anthony, 53, were also there.

Ben's brother Casey, 47, declined to attend after saying he had prior family commitments in Los Angeles.

The actor's long-term friend Matt Damon, 51, with whom he won an Oscar for 'Good Will Hunting', was seen in attendance with his wife Luciana Barroso, 46.

Director Kevin Smith and actor Jason Mewes, famed for playing Jay and Silent Bob alongside Ben in a series of comedies, were also spotted in Georgia for the party.

Jennifer Garner was understood to be filming in Texas.

Other stars expected at the party include George Clooney, Jane Fonda, Renee Zellweger, and Jimmy Kimmel.

Following the wedding ceremony, Affleck and Lopez walked with their guest towards the estate's Oyster House, expected to have held the wedding reception.

An explosives permit for a fireworks display is believed to have been secured, while wedding bells were set up ahead of the evening ceremony and the menu included fried pork chops, rice and vegetables, along with oven-roasted chicken and mac and cheese, with barrels of Jack Daniels also seen being shipped on to the property.

Modern pop music is confusing, says Madonna

Madonna feels "confused" by modern pop music.

The 64-year-old singer - who is one of the best-selling artists of all time - feels the music industry has changed markedly since her pop heyday.

The 'Like a Prayer' hitmaker - who shot to global stardom in the 80s - explained: "I think what's changed the most is just the songs. Songs have changed. The concept of songwriting.

"I'm just, give me a song. I need a beginning, a middle and an end. You know what I mean? I get confused by people's music. And also there are just too many artists on songs. I feel chaotic when I listen to them."

Madonna has always been "invested" in empowering women through her music.

And the pop icon feels proud of her hit records and the impact that they've had on wider society.

She told Paper magazine: "I was very much invested in empowering women too and that was a very big part of the storytelling. Because I think, while women were making great dance records, I feel like in the early days, while the songs and melodies are really strong and the singers are really good, they weren't really invested in making women think, 'Wow, I don't have to live in a man's world, living under the male gaze for the rest of my life. I can look at life in a different way and not settle. I can have my own voice and my own vision.' So that was an important element."

Madonna has also been keen to "provoke people" through her music.

Asked what fuelled her progressive approach, she replied: "I would call it curiosity - the desire to provoke people and wake people up. I hate repeating myself."

Dr Dre nearly died after suffering brain aneurysm

Dr Dre came close to death after suffering a brain aneurysm in 2021.

The 57-year-old rap star spent two weeks on an intensive care unit last year after suffering an aneurysm, and Dre has now revealed that his family were even invited to the hospital to say their "last goodbyes".

The hip-hop icon - whose real name is Andre Young - shared: "They allowed my family to come in. I found out later, they called them up so they could say their last goodbyes because they thought I was outta here."

Dre was under constant medical care as he recovered from the aneurysm.

He explained on the 'Workout the Doubt' podcast: "Because of what was going on in my brain, they had to wake me up every hour on the hour for two weeks to do these tests, basically looking like sobriety tests, like touch your nose, rub your heel on your calf and all that s***."

Dre performed at the Super Bowl Halftime Show earlier this year alongside the likes of Snoop Dogg, Mary J. Blige, Eminem, 50 Cent and Kendrick Lamar.

However, he nearly withdrew amid fears he would be labelled a "sellout" because of the NFL's attitude towards Colin Kaepernick, the former San Francisco 49ers star and civil rights activist.

He said: "I was absolutely concerned about that.

"I actually called a couple of close friends and said, 'Listen, I'm gonna pull out. I'm not going to do the show. Because I don't know if I want that smoke. I don't know if I want the backlash after doing the show and potentially looking like a f****** sellout or something like that.'"

Dre was eventually convinced to change his mind by rap legends Nas and Jay Z.

He shared: "Nas and Jay Z were big reasons why I decided to do the show."

Sum 41 frontman Deryck Whibley sells music catalogue

Sum 41 frontman Deryck Whibley has sold his publishing and recorded music catalogue.

The 42-year-old musician has struck a deal with equity fund, HarbourView Equity Partners - which was founded in 2021 by CEO Cherrese Clarke Soares - to offload his music portfolio, according to Billboard.

Deryck recorded seven albums with Sum 41, selling over 15 million records and he has also worked as a producer.

No details of the sale have been revealed.

HarbourView has also acquired music portfolios from Hollywood Undead, Brad Paisley, Lady A, and many more.

Sum 41 released the record 'Order In Decline' in 2019 and are working on the double album 'Heaven and Hell'.

Lead guitarist Dave Baksh previously told Gigwise: "We're working on a brand new one actually, because we've had so much time off, songs have just collected, collected, and collected. It's actually going to be a double record, called 'Heaven and Hell'."

Backing vocalist Jason McCaslin said: "So, the Heaven side is kind of our past more pop-punk stuff with a new twist to it, and the Hell side is going to be really, really heavy."

Dave added: "So essentially... we're going to be putting out a double record that spans out that whole genre-bending theme. We were all a part of that generation where instead of having a record of the exact same thing, we do whatever we want!"

And Jason said: "We're also a strange band in the sense we've done poppy songs too, then we also went to like thrash metal. We have a weird fanbase in the sense: some kids only like the poppy stuff, some kids only like the heavy stuff, and some of them like it all. So, this new album is going to kind of bring them together! So hopefully, we can't get any of our fans going 'woah, I don't like the poppy stuff'. Like, just listen to the B-side!"

The Game was 'damn near in love' with Kim Kardashian

The Game was once "damn near in love" with Kim Kardashian.

The 42-year-old rap star and Kim, 41, dated "for a little bit" - but he was ultimately left feeling heartbroken when Kim decided to pursue a romance with Reggie Bush instead.

Recalling the time he saw Reggie at Kim's condo building, he said: "I didn't peak out the door to see where he was going, so he could've been going anywhere. But then they ended up together, so yeah, I was a little hurt after that."

The Game - whose real name is Jayceon Taylor - has worked with Kim's ex-husband, Kanye West, in the past.

And he also remains fond of Kim, despite their messy split.

He told 'House of ACES presents The Debut Live': "I really like Kim. I really care about her. I think she's a really great mom and a really great person. None of this is to deteriorate who she is.

"I love what she does with prison reform. That's my homeboy's [Kanye West] wife. I see Pete [Davidson] gone and hopefully they get back [together]."

Kim recently split from Pete, 28, after nine months of dating.

However, the decision to call time on their romance was entirely "mutual".

An insider said at the time: "It was an amicable split. They had discussed ending their relationship for a bit. It wasn't sudden.

"And it was a mutual decision. Getting back together is not in the cards right now."

Another source suggested that their romance had reached its natural conclusion, observing that it had been "slowing down" for a period of time.

The insider said: "Things heated up quickly in the beginning when he could travel back and forth to see Kim and spend time with her, but his schedule has gotten so packed."

Will Smith jokes about his social media return

Will Smith has joked about his return to social media following his Oscars controversy.

The 53-year-old actor shocked everyone at the awards ceremony in April when he hit comedian Chris Rock for making a joke about his wife, Jada Pinkett Smith - and Will has now quipped about his return to social media following the high-profile incident.

Will - who has more than 63 million Instagram followers - posted a video clip of a baby gorilla poking an enormous gorilla from behind in an effort to attract some attention.

The Hollywood star captioned the tongue-in-cheek post: "Me trying to get back on social."

Will has taken a step back from social media since the Oscars controversy.

The actor previously described his behavior as "shocking, painful, and inexcusable".

Will - who resigned from the Oscars Academy after the controversial clash - said: "My actions at the 94th Academy Awards presentation were shocking, painful, and inexcusable.

"The list of those I have hurt is long and includes Chris, his family, many of my dear friends and loved ones, all those in attendance, and global audiences at home. I betrayed the trust of the Academy.

"I deprived other nominees and winners of their opportunity to celebrate and be celebrated for their extraordinary work. I am heartbroken.

"I want to put the focus back on those who deserve attention for their achievements and allow the Academy to get back to the incredible work it does to support creativity and artistry in film."

Will - who won the Best Actor gong at the ceremony - also confirmed that he was "committed to doing the work to ensure that I never again allow violence to overtake reason".

Sherri Shepherd 'takes inspiration from Oprah Winfrey and Ellen DeGeneres'

Sherri Shepherd wants her new TV talk-show to take inspiration from Oprah Winfrey and Ellen DeGeneres.

The 55-year-old star has been handed her own eponymous daytime talk-show - which will air later this year - and Sherri is planning to take her cue from some of the most successful women in the TV industry.

A source said: "She's bringing comedy back to TV … What she plans to do for the show is take Ellen and Oprah and combine it. It will be a funny, inspirational show."

Sherri and her team have been meeting with some of the most influential publicists in the entertainment industry ahead of the show's launch.

The TV star recently attended an event at Ink 48 in New York and she's determined to make her talk-show a big success.

The insider told the New York Post newspaper's Page Six column: "Sherri made sure she spoke to every single publicist that attended. She did the same in LA, literally every single one - all the networks and record labels."

Meanwhile, Ellen ended her hit talk-show in May, after 19 years on the air.

The 64-year-old star closed the landmark episode with a monologue celebrating the changes in LGBTQ representation in showbiz.

Ellen - who is married to actress Portia de Rossi - said: "I was not allowed to say 'gay'. I said it at home a lot. Like, you know, 'What are we having for our gay breakfast' or 'Pass the gay salt? Has anyone seen the gay remote?' Things like that, but we couldn't say 'gay'. I couldn't say 'we' because that implied that I was with someone, sure; couldn't say 'wife' and that's because it wasn't legal for gay people to get married - and now I say 'wife' all the time.

"Twenty-five years ago, they cancelled my sitcom because they didn't want a lesbian to be in primetime once a week, and I said, 'OK, then I'll be on daytime every day. How about that?'"

Ryan Reynolds turns to David Beckham for soccer advice

Ryan Reynolds has been leaning on David Beckham for advice about his soccer team.

The 45-year-old actor co-owns Wrexham AFC with 'It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia' star Rob McElhenney, and Ryan admits that he's been trying to tap-in to David's soccer knowledge since they bought the Welsh team in 2021.

Ryan shared: "He's possibly just the nicest guy on planet earth - what's not to love about him?

"He's a great guy, so generous with his time."

The Hollywood star has also become obsessed with the sport since he bought the team.

Ryan - who is married to actress Blake Lively - is even organising his time around Wrexham's games.

He told the BBC: "I hate to say it but I'm so obsessed with this sport now that I actually hate this sport.

"Like I wish it didn't occupy my every thought so I am living for Saturday for our match on Saturday.

"I've already figured out, because I'm going to be away from home, scheduling the times to make sure I'm not interrupted then I can focus on Wrexham. It's pretty cool."

Earlier this month, Ryan revealed that he and Rob actually developed their friendship over social media.

During a joint appearance on 'Jimmy Kimmel Live!', Ryan shared: "I kind of slid into your DMs.

"I saw Rob in one of the episodes of 'It's Always Sunny'. He did something that was absolutely spectacular. It was one of the most beautiful things that I've ever seen. It was a dance sequence, it was all black and white and the rain ... I genuinely ... it was probably, pound for pound, the most gorgeous, beautifully shot and performed three minutes I'd ever seen on television.

"And I ... as I'm getting older I'm thinking, I've got to tell people when I appreciate them more. So, I happened to follow you on social media and I just DMd you and said, 'What I just saw on your show was spectacular!'"

Piers Morgan blasts Gwyneth Paltrow

Piers Morgan has hit out at Gwyneth Paltrow.

The 57-year-old TV presenter lashed out at the 49-year-old actress over posts on her website for her lifestyle brand Goop, where she described some sex toys as "made for penis-bearing people and their partner".

According to The Sun newspaper, TalkTV's Piers said: "Gwyneth is talking absurd virtue-signalling goop.

"A penis-bearing person is called a MAN. And I say this with some confidence as someone who bears one."

His colleague Mike Graham said: "Penis-bearing doesn't even make any sense. And I don't know any women with prostates either.

I suppose we can't expect any better from a woman that made candles out of the scent of a vagina.

"She was even too woke for Chris Martin."

Anne Robinson added: "If she can't identify a man, she needs to be careful having her outdoor daily shower."

Gwyneth launched Goop as a weekly newsletter in 2008 and she has gone on to build it into a major lifestyle branding - selling Goop's clean cosmetics and candles as well as other brands and even branching out into a Netflix documentary series.

She previously released a controversial candle named 'This Smells Like My Vagina' and insisted she wanted the product to empower women.

She explained: "This candle is really like that provocation to say like, 'It's amazing to be a woman in every way'. It's amazing to have that kind of power and you deserve to have that agency."

Julian Lennon was 'asking for trouble' by naming new album Jude

John Lennon's son Julian feared he was "asking for trouble" by naming his new album 'Jude'.

Julian's latest release is a nod to Beatles track 'Hey, Jude' which Sir Paul McCartney wrote to console him after his parents John and Cynthia divorced in 1968, when he was just five years old.

The song was originally titled 'Hey Jules' - and the musician admits using 'Jude' for his new record is a controversial choice.

He told Mojo magazine: "Am I asking for trouble? Yes. Bring it on. I mean 'Hey Jude', it's lovely having someone write a song about you and their hopes that you're going to make it through this pile of s*** but people don't realise that every time that song is played, and I have probably heard it more than most people, it's a reminder of when my parents split up and it all went pear-shaped."

Julian's parents John and Cynthia divorced in 1968 after his dad was accused of being unfaithful with Yoko Ono, who he went on to marry in 1969.

John and Yoko later welcomed a son named Sean, a brother for Julian, in 1975.

During the interview Julian also revealed he has secretly changed his name by deed poll.

He was called John after his dad with his full name given as John Charles Julian Lennon, but he's grown up being called Julian so he decided to make the change official.

He told the publication: "I've only told a few other people this, but a few years ago, I decided to change my name by deed poll. By birth I am John Charles Julian Lennon … I just decided, switch 'John' and 'Julian' around, so that you know, I'm finally me. And my album 'Jude' was a whole part of that process."

Paramount working on Ferris Bueller's Day Off spin-off

Paramount Pictures is working on a 'Ferris Bueller's Day Off' spin-off.

The 1986 teen movie written, co-produced, and directed by John Hughes and starring Matthew Broderick as a high school slacker who skips school, with two of his friends is set for an update, from the creators of 'Cobra Kai', according to Deadline.

The upcoming film 'Sam and Victor's Day Off' will follow two new characters on the same day that Ferris (Broderick) and his pals Cameron (Alan Ruck) and Sloane (Mia Sara) skipped school.

'Cobra Kai's Jon Hurwtiz, Hayden Schlossberg and Josh Heald are producing the film, while their head of development Dina Hillier executive produces.

Bill Posley is set to write the screenplay, while a director has yet to be announced.

Meanwhile, Matthew, 60, previously revealed he almost turned down the starring role in the classic movie.

He said: "I thought [the script] was great, and I had a teeny hesitation because having just done [the plays] 'Brighton Beach Memoirs' and 'Biloxi Blues'.

"I was like, 'Wow, I'm talking to the audience, just like in these plays' … and even in [the 1985 movie] 'Ladyhawke' he talks to the camera a bit.

"You know, when you're young or starting out you think, "I have to do something different.

'My memory is, before I had hung up the phone, my agent was like behind me in the room, saying, 'Yes, you should do it.'

"He flew to New York. 'I'll see you tomorrow. Let's just not talk about it anymore now, I'll see you tomorrow,' and he came and was suddenly in the room with me, saying, 'Yeah, I do think you should do it.'"

Lance Bass' secret date

Steps' Ian 'H' Watkins once went on a secret date with NYSNC's Lance Bass.

The 46-year-old singer revealed that former boyband heartthrob Lance, 43, invited him on a date many years ago and H brought his bandmate Faye Tozer along as "wingman".

Speaking on Fearne Cotton's Radio 2 show 'Sounds Of The 90s', he said: "I went on a little bit of a date with Lance from NYSNC. Faye came along with me as my wingman."

However, H admitted that the date turned a little strange when David Hasselhoff showed up.

He said: "And then when we were out, Lance invited David Hasselhoff out, and his children.

"David let his children sleep on the nightclub benches while we all partied."

Faye, 46, added that Steps enjoying partying with many celebrities in the US, during their heyday.

She said: "We went into a bar and Gwen Stefani was there and then we met Engelbert Humperdinck's son. And then we went back to his house."

H is dad to six-year-old twin boys, Macsen and Cybi, who were born via egg donor and surrogate the year before he split up with his long term partner Craig Ryder.

Last year, he split from new boyfriend Tom Hope after just three months of dating.

He said: "I've done the tough love thing from day one, that's just something I had to do because I've been a single parent from the start and they're little boys and they're challenging. It was survival."

Meanwhile, Lance is married to actor and visual artist Michael Turchin and the couple welcomed twins Alexander and Violet in 2021.

Emma Watson dating Sir Philip Green's son?

Emma Watson is reportedly dating Sir Philip Green's son.

The 32-year-old actress was spotted walking hand-in-hand with Brandon Green, 29 - whose father is former Topshop mogul Philip - in Venice earlier this month, in pictures obtained by the Daily Mail newspaper.

Emma and Brandon have known each other for some time and were first spotted disembarking from a helicopter together in Battersea, London, last September.

Emma previously dated businessman Leo Robinton for almost two years and has also spoken about her "love" for her 'Harry Potter' co-star Tom Felton.

The actress - who played Hermione Granger in the wizarding movie franchise - reminisced about her crush on Tom, who portrayed villainous Draco Malfoy, on the HBO Max special 'Return To Hogwarts' which saw the cast reunite to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the first movie 'Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone'.

Emma was joined by her former co-stars Daniel Radcliffe and Rupert Grint as they reflected on their time playing the iconic magical trio Harry, Ron Weasley and Hermione, and she vividly remembered Tom making her heart skip a beat.

She said: "I walked into the room where we were having tutoring,

"The assignment that had been given was to draw what you thought god looked like, and Tom had drawn a girl with a backward cap on a skateboard. And I just don't know how to say it - I just fell in love with him.

"I used to come in every day and look for his number on the call sheet, it was number seven, and if his name was on the call sheet, it was an extra exciting day. He was three years above me and so for him he was like, you're like my little sister."

Despite years of dating speculation about them, to Emma's disappointment nothing ever happened between her and Tom.

But the 34-year-old actor admitted that he was fully aware of his secret admirer.

Tom said: "I think I was in the hair and make-up chair and someone said something along the lines of, 'Yeah, she had a crush on you.'

"I became very protective over her. Yeah, I've always had a soft spot for her and that continues to the day.

"There's always been something that's like, I don't know, a kinship."

Gary Numan wishes he could tell his teenage self that he has Asperger's Syndrome

Gary Numan wishes he could tell his teenage self that he has Asperger's Syndrome.

The 64-year-old musician struggled during his teen years because of the then undiagnosed developmental disorder, which is a form of Autism Spectrum Disorder where people can have a difficult time relating to others socially.

He said: "I wish I could go back and explain to my teenage self that he has Asperger's and what that really means. I think it would have helped me understand why I had problems. Instead I just felt that I was unlikeable. I was sent to a doctor in London when I was 14, my regret is that I wasn't interested in anything he said.

"I didn't think there was anything wrong with me. I thought the whole world was wrong and I was right."

Gary revealed that he was not treated for Asperger's as a teenager because his mother was unhappy with the diagnosis.

He told The Big Issue: "I remember the Asperger's thing being mentioned then and I have a vague memory of my mum being unhappy with that. She thought it was a reflection of her parenting. So we pretty much stopped going. They put me on Valium for a year, and when that finished we never went back.

"In hindsight, I wish I'd had some understanding at the time of what was wrong. But them that feeling of being unlikeable and alone and misunderstood shaped my writing. If I'd understood myself better, I might not have written that stuff and I might not have had the career I've had."

Alec Baldwin: 'I've lost five jobs since Rust shooting'

Alec Baldwin says he has lost five jobs since the 'Rust' shooting.

He added he would have quit the film business if it wasn't for the support of his wife Hilaria Baldwin, who is expecting their seventh child this fall.

Baldwin, 64, said in a new interview with CNN about the tragedy, in which cinematographer Halyna Hutchins was shot dead on set last October: "I got fired from another job yesterday. There I was all set to go to a movie, jump on a plane... I've been talking with these guys for months and they told me yesterday we don't want to do the film with you because of this."

He added about 38-year-old Hilaria's support: "If I didn't have my wife, I don't know where I would be right now... if I didn't have her, I probably would have quit, retired, gone off, you know sold everything I owned, got a house in the middle of nowhere and just you know did find something else to do, sell real estate."

Baldwin added if and when he does return to a movie or TV set, he will refuse to work with real guns and wants to leave the creation of realistic pistols to digital effects.

He also said there is not a day that goes by he doesn't think about Hutchins and what happened the day she was shot last October.

Baldwin added: "Everybody adored her as a person.

"That she died, that's the worst thing of all. Somebody died, and it was avoidable. It was so unnecessary.

"Every day of my life I think about that."

Baldwin has also said he doesn't believe he or anyone else will face charges in the fatal 'Rust' shooting.

He is now awaiting a decision from prosecutors who will decide whether he should be criminally charged over the accident on the set of the western in New Mexico.

Baldwin has placed responsibility for the tragedy on Hannah Gutierrez Reed, 24, who served as the armorer and props assistant on 'Rust', as well as assistant director Dave Halls - said to be 48- to 51-years-old - who handed him the gun.

Through their attorneys, Gutierrez Reed and Halls accused Baldwin of deflecting blame onto others.

Baldwin hit back in his CNN chat: "Someone put a live bullet in the gun who should have known better.

"That was (Gutierrez Reed's) job. Her job was to look at the ammunition and put in the dummy round or the blank round, and there wasn't supposed to be any live rounds on the set.

"There are two people who didn't do what they were supposed to do. I'm not sitting there saying I want them to, you know, go to prison, or I want their lives to be hell. I don't want that, but I want everybody to know that those are the two people that are responsible for what happened."

But Baldwin added: "I sincerely believe... (investigators are) going to say that this was an accident. It's tragic."

He also stressed he does not want to "condemn" Gutierrez Reed.

Michael Bublé has fourth baby - a daughter named Sky

Michael Bublé and his wife have had their fourth baby - a daughter named Sky.

The 46-year-old singer's wife, Luisana Lopilato, 35, gave birth to the girl on Friday (19.08.22), with the pair announcing the news on Instagram.

Luisana said in a joint caption with crooner Michael, alongside an image of them cradling their newborn's foot: "From love comes life, light and her... our baby Cielo Yoli Rose Bublé.

"You finally arrived to our lives with your 3,8 kg!!! Thanks God for this infinite blessing, we love you!! Noah, Elias, Vida and your mom and dad."

The baby's name translates to Sky in English.

Michael and his wife used his 'I'll Never Not Love You' music video to announce their latest pregnancy, with Luisana showing her baby bump in a grocery store scene while walking with son Noah, eight, son Elias, six, and four-year-old daughter Vida.

Grammy-winner Michael then posted images online of him touching the bump with the message: "Ooops! We did it again."

The singer, who married Luisana in March 2011, has previously spoken about his plans to grow their family.

When his wife first expressed a desire for a fourth child, Michael told her "three is good", he told Us Weekly.

He added: "My wife giggled, and I said, 'What's funny?'

"And she said, 'I think it's so cute that you think you have an option.'"

Michael added he was happy to "put in the work" to make another member of the family, saying before the fourth pregnancy was announced his other kids would "probably" have a sibling on the way.

When the couple told their children one was coming, Elias was left "distraught" as he "wasn't invited" to the new addition's conception.

Michael said about Elias' reaction: "We said, 'What's wrong?' And he said, 'Why didn't you invite us to watch when you fell in love and you made the baby?'" - before he clarified his kids are still in the dark about how babies are made.

He added: "They just know that mommies and daddies fall in love and they had the baby, so he just wanted to know why he wasn't invited."

Angelina Jolie photographed with 'bruises' after alleged jet plane assault by Brad Pitt

Angelina Jolie was photographed appearing to have endured bruises after she was allegedly assaulted on a private jet by Brad Pitt.

Black and white images seem to show dark marks on the 'Maleficent' actress' hand and elbow after the couple's onboard fight in September 2016.

The pictures, first published by Page Six, are said to have been included in a FBI report on the incident, the contents of which have now been widely reported.

It is understood the clash on the jet was allegedly the final straw that triggered the collapse of their marriage in 2016 after a 12-year marriage.

Jolie, 47, is said to claim in the FBI papers she suffered a "rug burn type wound" on her left hand, and said in the report she may have scratched Pitt.

The FBI documents conclude there was no basis to bring charges against 58-year-old 'Once Upon a Time in Hollywood' actor Pitt.

Around $25,000 (£21,000) in damage is said to have been caused during the flight, mainly by red wine stains.

A source told Sun Online: "Brad didn't behave great that day -he has had issues with alcohol and he has addressed it.

"No one is defending what happened there, but there is no benefit to the family to bring up these documents from six years ago."

Jolie told police Pitt screamed at her in the toilet on board a flight back to America from Nice in France after he had been drinking.

It is alleged the 'Fight Club' actor pushed her into the bathroom wall and grabbed her head and shoulders, before yelling: "You're f***ing up this family."

Two of their young children, whose names were reportedly censored in the report, were said to be outside the door crying and asked: "Are you okay mommy?"

According to those who have seen the documents on the incident, Pitt reportedly shouted back: "No, mommy's not OK. She's ruining this family. She's crazy."

One the children was said to have replied to the Oscar winner: "It's not her, it's you, you p****."

Other incidents aboard the flight are also said to have seen Pitt allegedly pour beer on her and say one of their children was "looking like a f****** Columbine kid".

Pitt was not arrested or charged with the incident after the FBI investigation concluded in November 2016.

Angelina and Brad share six children - Maddox, 21, Pax, 18, Zahara, 17, Shiloh, 16, and 14-year-old twins Vivienne and Knox - with Pitt finally awarded joint custody of their children in May last year after a long court case.

Their recent legal battles have also included a case in February when Pitt sued Jolie for allegedly secretly selling her half of the $164 million (£139 million) French vineyard they share.

Fatherhood is what life is all about, says Matt Smith

Matt Smith thinks fatherhood would make him less "self-involved".

The 39-year-old actor - who has previously dated the likes of Lily James and Daisy Lowe - doesn't have any children of his own, but he thinks it would change his entire outlook on life.

Reflecting on the impact of fatherhood, Matt shared: "I would imagine having children allows this all to fade away a bit. Because there just isn't the time to w*** on and on. There isn't the time to be so self-involved, not if someone needs to go to school or they've got spaghetti hoops up their nose."

Matt is currently single but admitted that having kids is "what life is all about".

He told Esquire: "I do think that's what life is all about in the end. Children. Making a family. You know, when you're dead, and you're on the slab, that's what'll count."

Matt starred as Prince Philip in the hit Netflix series 'The Crown'. And although he missed out on numerous accolades for his performance, he insists he doesn't harbour any bitterness.

The actor - who starred on the show alongside Claire Foy, who played Queen Elizabeth - shared: "Don't get me wrong. There's always a moment, after 'And the winner is', that stings you. Because you're there, you're in a f****** suit, you've got your mum with you, you've flown to Los Angeles. And because everyone around you who's in the same show keeps winning! But it stings for a nanosecond. It isn't important."

Matt was ultimately able to find some joy in the complimentary words of his co-star.

He said: "Claire won everything. My award was the absolutely beautiful and gracious things she said about me in her speeches."

Demi Lovato: 'I turned blue and was minutes from death after accidental heroin overdose'

Demi Lovato turned blue and was minutes from death following her accidental heroin overdose.

The double-Grammy nominated singer and former Disney child star, 29, was found at her home in Los Angeles during the 2018 incident and she has struggled to come to terms with the severity of it.

She was quoted in The Sun on Friday (19.08.22) saying: "When they found me, I was turning blue and the doctor said I had five to 10 more minutes left.

Since the overdose Demi has also had three strokes, resulting in brain damage, and a heart attack.

She told Zane Lowe on Apple Music 1 as she releases her eighth album 'Holy Fvck' she now suffers "survivor's guilt" after seeing celebrities such as Ariana Grande's ex boyfriend Mac Miller, 26, pass away due to drugs.

Demi added: "I've lost friends that were around my age, and those hurt so deeply.

"I had a lot of survivor's guilt after my overdose because right after that Mac Miller died and it just put everything into perspective for me of what could have been."

Demi said signing a record deal aged 15 - the age at which she also says she was raped - came at a time when she had no idea who she was.

She added: "I had a team trying to force me to be this hyper-feminine pop star. I was so unhappy."

Demi is now said to be happy in a new relationship with musician Jute$, 29, with the pair seen leaving Haswell Green's pub in Manhattan, New York City, on Wednesday hand-in-hand.

Jason Momoa to produce biopic about Hawaiian swimming legend

Jason Momoa is to produce a documentary about a legendary Hawaiian swimmer.

The 'Aquaman' star has once again teamed up with producer Peter Safran - who he worked with on the 2018 superhero film and the forthcoming sequel 'Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom' - for a movie about Duke Kahanamoku, who is widely credited for making surfing more popular as a sport.

Momoa - who is also from Hawaii - and Sarfan have joined forces with producers Susan Miller Carlson and Eric Carlson on the project, and Chris Kekaniokalani Bright is writing the script.

Sarfan told Variety: "Duke's story is one that has fascinated me for years.

"To now have the opportunity to tell it with the respect that it deserves, in collaboration with Jason, Chris and the Carlsons, is truly a gift."

Eric added: "We are all proud to be working with Malama Pono to tell the incredible true story of Duke Kahanamoku, one of America's most overlooked heroes."

Momoa is no stranger to the life of Kahanamoku, after he narrated a PBS documentary, 'Waterman - Duke: Ambassador of Aloha', about the star in May.

Kahanamoku - who passed away in 1968 aged 77 after suffering a heart attack - won five Olympic medals for swimming across the 1912, 1920 and 1924 Games.

He went on to become the sheriff of Honolulu - where Momoa was born in - for nearly 30 years until the early 1960s.

According to producers, the film will "explore this iconic and gentle man as the legendary swimmer, trailblazer and the undisputed father of modern-day surfing".

They added: "Duke lived a life of compassion and inclusion as he embraced the true meaning of 'Aloha.' "

Eva Mendes 'loves Ryan Gosling's Barbie role'

Eva Mendes thinks it's "cute and charming" that Ryan Gosling is starring in the 'Barbie' movie.

The 48-year-old actress has Amada, six, and Esmeralda, seven, with the Hollywood actor, and she loves that he's playing the role of Ken in the star-studded movie.

A source said: "Eva is always supportive of the films Ryan takes on. She finds it cute and charming that he's playing the role of Ken."

Ryan, 41, appears in the film alongside Margot Robbie, and his long-time partner has embraced Ryan's movie makeover, which includes his eye-catching blond hair.

The insider told Us Weekly: "They were actually having fun role playing together after he went blond. They both got some good laughs."

The loved-up couple have been together for more than a decade, and their chemistry and affection is said to remain "off the charts".

Eva has taken a step back from her acting career since having her first child. But the 'Hitch' star previously revealed that her "ambition is coming back".

During an interview in 2020, Eva explained: "I feel like, as far as my ambition, it didn't go away, it just shifted onto the children.

"I applaud and look up to those women who can do it all, but I'm not one of them - and, thankfully, I have a choice not to work and I realize how fortunate I am that it's even a choice.

"I've been so happy to be able to incubate with my babies, but now they are four and six, I'm starting to feel like my ambition is coming back."

Eva was one of the most in-demand actresses in Hollywood at the height of her career.

But in the early days, she was told she was "too ethnic" by one casting director.

Eva - who was born in Miami, Florida, to Cuban parents - said: "There was a commercial casting director who'd let me audition for commercials and kept bringing me in for callback. One day, after a year of never booking a job, I said, 'Okay, tell me what I need to change so I can get cast?'

"She said, 'Honey, it's just your look. You're too ethnic, so you're never going to be the face of any American product.'"

Taylor Momsen was almost cast as Hannah Montana

Taylor Momsen was almost cast as 'Hannah Montana'.

While the role eventually went to Miley Cyrus, casting director Lisa London revealed that the top three people considered for the Disney role were Taylor, Miley and Daniella Monet, despite recently claims that Spanish-Mexican singer Belinda almost snagged the role.

London explained on TikTok: "I'm actually the original casting director on 'Hannah Montana', and I discovered Miley Cyrus. I wanted to let everyone know that Belinda, who is lovely by the way, was never in the top three for the role of Hannah."

She shared a sheet of paper dated May 6, 2005, with the names of Miley, Taylor and Daniella and wrote: "These were the final three actresses the network tested out of over 1,200 girls.

Momsen went on to star in 'Gossip Girls', while Monet was later cast in 'Victorious'.

Meanwhile, Miley, 29, recently celebrated the 16th anniversary of the premiere of 'Hannah Montana', which she starred in from 2006 to 2011 on the Disney Channel.

She tweeted: "Happy 16th Hannah-versary! 16 years ago my life changed forever when HM premiered. Because of your loyalty and support I've had the honor to travel the world for over a decade and perform for fans that bring so much greatness into my life.

"Grateful to each of you for all of your love ATTENTION! You personally paved my path! Eternally thankful!"

Demi Lovato reclaims her identity on rock album Holy Fvck

Demi Lovato has released 'Holy Fvck' and admitted the album gave her the "freedom to express" herself "in ways I didn't know were possible."

The 29-year-old star got to reclaim the artist she truly is on her heavy rock follow-up to 2021's 'Dancing with the Devil... the Art of Starting Over'- and it was a "cathartic and exhilarating" experience.

In a typed-out note to fans on Twitter, Demi said: "HOLY FVCK gave me the freedom to express myself in ways I didn't know were possible and find joy I'd been missing when making music.

It's cathartic and grounded, yet exhilarating and a hell of a good time."

She added: "I don't know where I'll be in life in a year, or in five or 10 years - but what I do know is that this record is exactly where I am now, and I am damn proud of it. I hope everyone who listens is too."

The 'Cool for the Summer' hitmaker admitted in a recent interview that she won't be hurrying to listen back to the album's predecessor.

She told Vogue: "What I learned about myself making this record is that it's okay to own your truth. The last album that I made, I'm proud of it, but I don't feel like there was a lot of myself in it. There was a lot of authenticity in the lyrics, but sonically, let's just say I don't go back and listen to that music today. This album, I'm excited to perform it and listen back to it. I haven't gotten tired of it."

Demi admitted she previously chased radio hits and lost sight of the artist she truly is.

The '29' singer was "miserable" singing the songs on stage and despised dressing in leotards in heels because that wasn't her style.

She recalled in a separate interview with Zane Lowe on Apple Music 1: "When I started my first two albums, I feel like my instincts were on track and I was doing the music that I loved listening to. And then I strayed away from it because I thought, 'Well, I want radio songs.' You know what I'm saying? I want songs that are going to be played on the radio, so I started doing more pop music. And I started to lose myself as well as myself as an artist ... and honestly, it didn't reflect what was inside of me. And I would get on stage, and I'd be in these leotards and these stiletto shoes that I was miserable in. And I danced. I did choreography and stuff like that, and I just wasn't happy. And so I think that that led to me completely losing myself to find myself again, and I've started to find myself over time. And it's funny that when you just go back to who you were in the beginning, as a 15-year-old, my instincts were correct. And I just got to stick to those but harder."

Brad Pitt agrees 20m settlement with New Orleans homeowners

Brad Pitt and his Make It Right Foundation have agreed a $20.5 million settlement with homeowners in New Orleans.

The 'Bullet Train' actor and his charity were first subjected to a class action lawsuit from homeowners in 2018, after they alleged the foundation sold affordable but "defectively and improperly constructed homes" to residents seeking shelter in the wake of Hurricane Katrina.

And, four years later, the company has reached a settlement agreement with the homeowners and is partnering with Global Green to rectify the issues.

Brad, 58, told Us Weekly: "I am incredibly grateful for Global Green's willingness to step up and provide this important support for the Lower Ninth families. We collaborated in the early days post-Katrina and we are very fortunate to have Global Green's generous continuing commitment to help address the challenges around these homes and others in need.

"Hopefully this agreement will allow everyone to look ahead to other opportunities to continue to strengthen this proud community in the future."

Brad previously tried to get his name dropped from the lawsuit, because he claimed he had no involvement in building the homes.

Brad's legal team said: "The petition contains no allegations that Mr. Pitt committed any act or omission, other than in his capacity as a Director, which allegedly caused plaintiffs emotional distress, much less a physical injury."

It was previously claimed the actor had donated millions of his own money to try and fix the problems with the buildings.

A source said: "Brad's been working on this for around a year. Once he knew that there were things that were not up to the standards that he and others would expect, he addressed it - it's not like he waited for the complaint to be made before doing something about it."

Brad and designer William McDonough founded Make It Right in 2006, a year after the hurricane struck the region.

Harry Styles 'loves to unwind by playing golf'

Harry Styles has turned to golf to relax while touring.

The 28-year-old singer has been playing the game for years but has been trying to get in as many rounds as possible since touring as a solo star.

A source told The Sun newspaper's Bizarre column: "Harry loves to unwind by playing golf. When you've got over 60,000 fans screaming your name with every movement it can be overwhelming.

"A round of golf is the complete opposite of a stadium show - it's peaceful and by its nature comes with privacy, so it's perfect. Harry has made sure to check out as many golf courses as possible as he tours the world. He's even added golfing clothes to his luggage."

During their One Direction days, Harry and his bandmate Niall Horan, 28, often enjoyed a round of golf together and Niall founded golf management company, Modest! Golf in 2016.

Speaking previously about his passion for the sport, Niall told todaysgolfer.co.uk: "Obviously, my day-to-day job is a musician and it's something I dreamt about being since a I was a child. But away from my job, my biggest love is golf, and has been from when I used to watch the Masters as a kid with my father.

"When I started Modest! Golf my intention was always to do my bit to get more young people into the game and to support the younger generation of professional golfer. Hopefully the work we are doing in the event space and in addition to our work with the R A, we like to think we are doing our bit but of course it needs all the stakeholders in golf to pull together to make the biggest difference.

"Having travelled all over the world, I've obviously witnessed the power of my fans. A lot of them would be young females and they're so passionate. Knowing what power the young ladies have, that can only lead to great things.

"I watch and study all sorts of golf to be honest, it's always been all inclusive to me, and it's about getting young girls to pick up a club, giving it a go and though they might hit 50 bad ones, the 51st will probably be a good one and will encourage them to go back for more and that's what it's all about.

"I feel very passionate about this - if we can grow the female game, we can grow the game in general. As simple as that."

New Found Glory's Chad Gilbert undergoes surgery on spinal tumour

New Found Glory's Chad Gilbert has had successful surgery on a spinal tumour.

The 'My Friends Over You' rocker was declared "cancer-free" in January after having "half a liver, a gallbladder and one adrenal gland" removed last year.

However, this week the 41-year-old musician revealed he had to have more surgery to remove as much of the tumour as possible, with a very small amount left in the bone, which they will zap with radiotherapy.

The positive star said everything is "going great", telling fans in an update on Instagram: "Got out of surgery yesterday afternoon! Things went really well.

"They were able to remove almost all of it besides a microscopic amount of tumour that was in the bone. Once we get test results back from the tissue, we'll be able to blast it with whatever treatment it needs so we can keep it at bay or even kill it completely.

"Pheochromocytomas and paragangliomas are very rare tumours. So it is a very strategic process to treat them. But all news has been good so far for what the situation is and things have been going great!"

Chad - who was previously married to Paramore's Hayley Williams between 2017 and 2016 - dubbed himself "Robo-Chad" as he fends off the disease.

He added: "First two nurses I saw post-op were big NFG fans which was really special. Their compassion and love made me feel not alone. I have two rods and five screws in my back and now have one less rib. But I'm stronger than ever. Robo-Chad is on a mission!"

Chad had to quit the NFG tour in the US after struggling with intense back pain.

He said: "Unfortunately we found a new Pheochromocytoma tumour in the 12th vertebrae of my spine pinching on my nerve bad."

However, the pop punk veterans will be back out on the road for three headline shows in Philadelphia, Asbury Park and Buffalo on September 7, 8 and 9.

They wrote: "Our September shows will still be happening as planned. The 3 headline shows are nearly sold out so get your Philly tickets while you still can or see us at some incredible festivals next month! newfoundglory.com/tour."

Jesse Eisenberg: I'd be shocked if I wound up in another DC movie

Jesse Eisenberg is "not a comic book fan" and would be "shocked" if he appeared in another DC movie.

The 38-year-old actor played Lex Luthor in the 2016 DC superhero film 'Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice', and while he's insisted the genre is not important to him, he wouldn't rule out a return to the franchises.

He told Deadline: "I'd be shocked if I wound up in a DC movie, but it would be a pleasant shock.

"Listen, I'm not a comic book fan. To me, it was not playing a role that I'd envisioned since childhood. To me, it was a chance to play this great character that this great writer wrote, and I loved doing that. So, to play it is a joy, and to not play it isn't something that I'm going to be ashamed to tell my kids about, because that is not an important genre in my life, even though I loved doing that movie."

Meanwhile, Eisenberg revealed this week he's set to write and direct 'A Real Pain' and star in the film alongside Kieran Culkin.

The 'Zombieland' star is poised to head to Poland in March 2023 to shoot the film about "two estranged cousins who travel to Poland after their grandmother dies to see where she came from and end up joining a Holocaust tour."

They will be played by Eisenberg, 38, and 'Succession' star Kieran, 39.

Eisenberg is once again teaming up with Dave McCary, Emma Stone and Ali Herting's production firm Fruit Tree on the movie, after his directional debut 'When You Finish Saving The World' was released under the banner.

The 'Now You See Me' star says the movie asks if "modern pain is valid against the backdrop of real historical trauma."

In an interview with ScreenDaily.com, Eisenberg said of the two characters: "They have a funny, fraught relationship; it's a bittersweet story, as we realise maybe we don't fully belong together, but against the backdrop of this incredibly dramatic history.

"I'm trying to ask the question is modern pain valid against the backdrop of real historical trauma? I think I'm speaking to the experience of people [in their 30s] who go back and it's foreign to them - and now suddenly real."

Eisenberg is hoping to work with as many team members from the crew of his first film as he can, along with locals.

He added: "Luckily I'm shooting in a country that has an amazing film tradition."

The 'Social Network' star previously opened up about coming from a "secular suburban Jewish household" himself, while his ancestors were Polish.

He said: "I grew up in a secular suburban Jewish household where we only observed the religion on very specific times like a funeral or a Bar Mitzvah."

Queen Elizabeth's granddaughter Lady Louise Windsor's 'normal' summer job

Queen Elizabeth's granddaughter Lady Louise Windsor has reportedly been working at a garden centre.

The 18-year-old royal - who is the daughter of Prince Edward and his wife Sophie, Countess of Wessex - was revealed this week to be heading to St Andrews University in Fife, Scotland to study English.

It's the same prestigious university The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge studied and met at.

However, while she was awaiting her A-Level results this week, Louise surprised shoppers working the normal job manning the tills for minimum wage.

One customer told The Sun: "I couldn't believe it was Lady Louise -- I had to look twice.

"She is a really modest and sweet young woman who is polite and attentive to customers. She seemed to be loving the job.

"You'd never imagine the Queen's granddaughter would take on a role working behind a till."

Another said: "The staff seemed to adore her.

"It's not every day you buy your begonias off a royal."

Louise - who chose not to become a working royal - is said to have studied English, History, Politics and Drama, but her A-Level grades have not been made public.

The teen - who is believed to have inherited her grandfather's carriages following his death aged 99 last year - took part in the Duke of Edinburgh Award scheme when she was at school and admitted she was keen to do so in order to make Prince Philip "proud".

She said: "There was certainly an element of making my grandfather proud and honouring him by taking part in the award that has been so much of his life's work. I definitely hope I have made him proud..

"I'd always wanted to do it because of the skills you develop as a result.

"My favourite part was my expeditions. Just having that level of independence and self-sufficiency and having that sense of achievement when it was finished."

Lili Reinhart almost didn't get cast on Riverdale

Lili Reinhart almost didn't get the role of Betty Cooper on 'Riverdale'.

The 'Look Both Ways' star "was told no" at first when she tried out for the iconic blonde in the CW adaption of the 'Archie Comics' - which also stars her ex Cole Sprouse, KJ Apa and Camila Mendes - but kept pushing to finally get cast.

The 25-year-old actress told E! News: "It's weird because when I auditioned for Riverdale at first, I was told no. I didn't get the role. They said no, and then I moved to L.A. and they still hadn't cast the role of Betty and so I was able to go in in person because the first time was a self-tape. And then I went in in-person and I made it past the first round, second round, third round and then did my test and I got the role."

Lili is unsure where she "would have ended up" if she hadn't snagged the role.

She said: "There was a very big chance and a moment where I didn't have that role and if I hadn't, I don't know where I would have ended up. I think I still would have moved to LA, but I don't think I'd be sitting here."

Lili admitted she's "very guilty" of being opinionated on social media.

"I definitely go on rants on social media, I'm very guilty of that. I don't like to just sit idly by, I don't like to keep my mouth shut. I know people on Twitter hate me. There are articles and everyone is like, 'God, does this girl ever shut up and stop complaining?' No, actually, I don't, because I've got a lot to say and no one else really seems to be."

For example, after the recent Met Gala, Lili took aim at Kim Kardashian, who detailed the restrictive diet she went on fit into the Bob Mackie gown Marilyn Monroe donned to sing President John F. Kennedy 'Happy Birthday' in 1962.

She tweeted: "To openly admit to starving yourself for the sake of the Met Gala. When you know very well that millions of young men and women are looking up to you and listening to your every word."

Lili explained that her comments where partly motivated by the desire for "better resources for mental health" that are accessible for people unable to fork out for fancy rehabs.

She said: "I've certainly been to the point where I thought, I need help, that I'm not OK mentally, that I wish I could go somewhere. Unfortunately, a lot of the resources are $90,000 retreats in Malibu, and I'm not about to just go sit on a lounge chair and have therapy for five days and be like, 'Cool! I'm better!' I wish there were better resources for mental health, and in the sense that people need to be taken more seriously when they're struggling."

Tristan Thompson is paying Maralee Nichols' child support for their son Theo, his lawyers say

Tristan Thompson is paying Maralee Nichols' child support for their son Theo, say his lawyers.

Legal representatives for the Chicago Bulls player confirmed that he is forking out for his little one after the 31-year-old model gave birth to another baby, now eight-months, and filed a paternity lawsuit against Khloe Kardashian's ex in June 2021.

They told US Weekly that the 31-year-old basketball player "is paying, and has paid, child support to Ms. Nichols retroactive to the date she delivered the child."

In February this year, a source told the same outlet: "Despite news reports stating otherwise, Tristan Thompson has done nothing to support their son. He has not made any attempt to meet their son nor has he provided any financial assistance."

In June, another insider said: "Tristan is very absent from Theo's life. He hasn't met Theo nor has he initiated any meetings," the source claimed, adding that Thompson hadn't yet provided any child support. "He doesn't have any immediate plans to meet his son face to face."

Theo was born during Tristan's relationship to 'The Kardashians' star, 38, - with who has four-year-old daughter True and newborn son born via surrogate earlier this month that Khloe will have sole custody of- and only admitted he "fathered a child with Maralee Nichols" in January this year.

In an Instagram Story, he wrote: "Today, paternity test results reveal that I fathered a child with Maralee Nichols. I take full responsibility for my actions. Now that paternity has been established I look forward to amicably raising our son."

In another follow-up post, Tristan - who also has five-year-old son Prince with Jordan Craig - appealed to the 'Good American' founder, saying she didn't "deserve this".

Tristan wrote: "Khloé, you don't deserve this. You don't deserve the heartache and humiliation I have caused you. You don't deserve the way I have treated you over the years. My actions certainly have not lined up with the way I view you. I have the utmost respect and love for you. Regardless of what you may think. Again, I am so incredibly sorry."

In an episode of their new Hulu reality show, Khloe shared that she found out about the affair and the baby when everyone else in the world did. A month after it aired, the reality television personality shared she was expecting her son, who was conceived in November.

Frances Bean Cobain 'wasn't sure' she was going to hit 30

Frances Bean Cobain "wasn't sure" she was going to hit 30.

The daughter of the late Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain and Hole lead singer Courtney Love, 58, celebrated getting to three decades on planet Earth with after proving herself "wrong" that she could reach "radical gratitude" after coping through many dramatic life events, such as the death of her father by suicide, addiction struggles, and her divorce from Isiah Silver in 2016 and so on.

She wrote on Instagram on Thursday (18.08.22): 30 !!! [fiery red heart emoji] [sunshine emoji] [blue butterfly emoji].

"I made it! Honestly, 20 year old Frances wasn't sure that was going to happen. At the time, an intrinsic sense of deep self loathing dictated by insecurity, destructive coping mechanisms more trauma than my body or brain knew how to handle, informed how I saw myself and the world; through a lens of resentment for being brought into a life that seemingly attracted so much chaos and the kind of pain tied to grief that felt inescapable. Then, an event on a plane which brought me closer in proximity to death is ironically the event that catapulted me towards running at this lived experience with radical gratitude. I'm glad to have proven myself wrong to have found ways to transform pain into knowledge.

Frances - who revealed she was dating Riley Hawk, 29, the son of pro skateboarder Tony Hawk, 54, earlier this year - shared a "sentiment" expressed by thinker Dr Jaiya John.

She said: "There's a quote by @jaiyajohn I hold closely, which is "the softer she became with herself, the softer she became with the world". It's a sentiment I try to remember daily."

The former model outlined her intention "to stay soft" despite the harshness people encounter daily.

Frances said: "Entering this new decade I hope to stay soft no matter how hardening the world can feel at times, bask in the present moment with reverence, shower the people I am lucky enough to love with more appreciation than words could ever do justice hold space to keep learning, so the growth never stops."

I'm happy to be here I'm happy you're here too. [fiery red heart emoji] [sunshine emoji] [blue butterfly emoji]."

JoJo Siwa and Kylie Prew have split up

JoJo Siwa and Kylie Prew have split up after reconciliation.

The former 'Dance Moms' star and the 18-year-old social media influencer have called it quits after they briefly got back together.

In a live video posted to TikTok, Kylie told her followers: "Someone asked me, just now, if I was single. I am. I been single for almost two months, and it's OK, it's not deep, I promise. Everything's fine. Not everything has to be messy and gross. Because it's not. And I just wanted to clear the air."

She added: "We're both safe and happy and healthy and that's all that matters. It doesn't need to be drama because that just gives everyone unwanted anxiety, especially if they're like me."

JoJo has not publicly addressed Kylie's comments or divulge any details about their breakup.

This is not the first time that the pair have ended things as they first called it a day in October last year before Kylie and 'Dancing With the Stars' alum declared they reunited in an adorable Instagram post.

On a social media post of them at Disneyland, the 19-year-old YouTuber wrote: "If you love something let it go, if it comes back…. [white heart emoji] [infinity emoji]"

The 'Boomerang' hitmaker also spoke on the record about her love for Kylie, calling being in love "very nice".

JoJo said: "I am in a relationship and I'm very happy and very lucky to be loved. It's been very nice."

She continued: "I think something that's been great, is it's been so honest, and I think that's a mistake that I've made in the past, is maybe trying to be something that I maybe wasn't. But this is just so pure and so honest, and it's so real and it just feels like I/we got it right."

R Kelly had sex with a 15-year-old girl, Chicago court told

R Kelly had sex with a 15-year-old girl, a Chicago court was told.

The alleged victim - known the jury under the alias of 'Jane' - claims that the 'Trapped in the Closet' hitmaker had sex with her "hundreds of times" before she turned aged 18, beginning when she was 15 and he was in his 30s.

Jane - who is now 38-years-old - also told the jury that she requested the 55-year-old rapper to be her godfather when she 13 years-old in the 90s.

In the following weeks, she detailed how R Kelly would allegedly telephone her and say sexually explicit things to her. He first touched her chest and other parts of her body whens she was 14 at a recording session in Chicago, the 'I Believe I Can Fly' hitmaker's hometown. It was during this period that the alleged "penetration" began at his home on the North Side of the city, explaining to the jury that she was 15 when they first began having intercourse.

When the prosecution asked how she knew what to do in bed, Jane told the court: "He would tell me what to do."

After being asked how many times they have sex prior to her 18th birthday, she said: "Uncountable times. Hundreds."

Prosecutors cite a video allegedly captured by R Kelly himself shows the 'Ignition' rapper having sex with Jane as what kicked off investigations into his child abuse allegations.

Jane also told the court about her early life, living in a musical family in an area outside Chicago and her experiences of being homeschooled as she performed in a touring musical group from the age of 12.

R Kelly - who is already serving a 30 year sentence after being found guilty in a New York court on racketeering and sex trafficking charges - is facing 13 charges relating to child pornography, enticing minors to have sex and the most seriously, obstruction of justice after he allegedly interfered with a 2008 trial which involved state child abuse charges, which also concerned the video of him and Jane allegedly having sex.

Prosecutors believe R Kelly - real name Robert Sylvester Kelly - bribed and intimidated Jane into not testifying against him, which she did not and he was eventually acquitted. In this case, Jane is now cooperating with investigators.

R Kelly - who denies all allegations - has faced a storm of claims about being a sexual abuser, which was heightened following the MeToo movement and the 2019 documentary series, 'Surviving R Kelly'.

On Wednesday, his lawyer Jennifer Bonjean asked the trial not to consider her client a "monster" while US assistant attorney Jason Julien told the court that R Kelly had a "dark" and "hidden" side to him.

Linda Evangelista depressed and hated herself after CoolSculpting left her feeling 'deformed'

Linda Evangelista has admitted she was "so depressed" she "hated" herself following a CoolSculpting procedure that left her feeling "deformed".

The model, 57, told in a cover interview for the September issue of British Vogue the faulty procedure caused her to lose her livelihood and left her with things "protruding" from her body.

She was keen to make clear make-up artist Pat McGrath gently drew her face, jaw and neck back with tape and elastics for the magazine's photoshoot.

Linda said: "That's not my jaw and neck in real life - and I can't walk around with tape and elastics everywhere.

"You know what, I'm trying to love myself as I am, but for the photos. Look, for photos I always think we're here to create fantasies. We're creating dreams. I think it's allowed. Also, all my insecurities are taken care of in these pictures, so I got to do what I love to do."

She was almost entirely covered in the photoshoot with a scarf around her neck.

In September last year, Linda took to her Instagram to announce that she had filed a lawsuit, now settled, in New York against Zeltiq Aesthetics for grievous injuries.

The mum-of-one, whose exes include former husband and 'Blue Velvet' actor Kyle McLachlan, 63, said: "If I had known side effects may include losing your livelihood and you'll end up so depressed that you hate yourself… I wouldn't have taken that risk.

"Am I cured mentally? Absolutely not. But I'm so grateful for the support I got from my friends and from my industry… you're not going to see me in a swimsuit, that's for sure.

"It's going to be difficult to find jobs with things protruding from me; without retouching, or squeezing into things, or taping things or compressing or tricking."

Linda said she decided to have the CoolSculpting procedure done after watching advertisements on TV, adding: "Those CoolSculpting commercials were on all the time, on CNN, on MSNBC, over and over, and they would ask, 'Do you like what you see in the mirror?'

"They were speaking to me. It was about stubborn fat in areas that wouldn't budge. It said no downtime, no surgery and… I drank the magic potion, and I would because I'm a little vain. So I went for it - and it backfired."

As one of the world's most famous supermodels in the world, Linda racked up more than 60 magazine covers during her career.

She added: "How did I keep going? This is the truth: I was young. You could go out and eat salty fried food and drink champagne, sleep at 3am and be up again at 5am.

"Drugs were offered to me, but I never touched them, I'm not saying I was an angel… but I was terrified of drugs."

She added about one traumatic moment in modelling during a shoot in Japan: "I went to the agency and it was all, 'Take your clothes off, we need your measurements', but they already had my measurements.

"They wanted me naked and it wasn't a, 'Would you do nudes?' conversation, it was a, 'You will do nudes'.

"I left and called my mother and she said, 'Get out now and get to the embassy'. "So that's what I did, and they got me home."

In July, Linda settled her $50 million (£42 million) CoolSculpting lawsuit after claiming a rare reaction to a fa-treduction procedure six years ago left her "deformed".

The September issue of British Vogue is available on newsstands and via digital download from Tuesday 23 August.

Shaquille O'Neal loves to buy his fans gifts

Shaquille O'Neal loves to buy his fans gifts.

The Los Angeles Lakers legend loves to do a daily "meaningful moment" for his supporters - especially children - by getting them a little present.

The 50-year-old basketball player told PEOPLE magazine: "I try to make every day a meaningful moment for a fan, and especially a kid."

Shaquille says his "favourite thing" is purchasing something a little one had been eyeing up in a store.

He said: "My favourite thing to do is when I'm in Best Buy, Walmart, if I see a kid, get them something that I see he's looking at. Oh, like yesterday I saw a couple kids. I bought a couple bikes, a couple more scooters."

'The Shaquille O'Neal Foundation' founder - who has four kids Shareef, Shaqir, Amirah and Me'arah with his ex wife Shaunie, stepson Myles and daughter Taahirah with his ex girlfriend Arnetta Yardbourgh - always gets clearance from their parents that its okay to do so.

Shaquille said: "Well, first I always tell them to ask their parents if they're going to take things from strangers. You don't want kids to get used to having a stranger come up and say, 'Hey, I got a whole lot of money. Can I buy you something?'"

The former Boston Celtics player also reminisced about "another really meaningful" moment that went from buying an unhoused woman in Texas a plate of food to reuniting her with her family.

Shaquille said: "There was a homeless lady in front of one of my favorite restaurants in Texas called Bigs. And I just gave her a plate of food and somebody recorded it and posted it.

He continued: "Her sister had come in crying to the owner, saying, 'Oh, my god, we've been looking for her for six months. We couldn't find her. We didn't know if anything was wrong with her.' They tried to take her to get help. She didn't want to get help, so she's still out there, but at least her sister knows where she is. Her sister could bring her clothes and water or something. But, when I do stuff like that, I never record it."

Bollywood star Shefali Shah tests positive for COVID-19

Shefali Shah has tested positive for COVID-19.

The Bollywood star has taken to Instagram to confirm that she was recently diagnosed with the illness, and she's now following the safety protocols.

Shefali, 49 - who recently starred in the comedy movie 'Darlings' - wrote on the photo-sharing platform: "I have tested positive for COVID-19. Have immediately isolated myself and will be under home quarantine. I am following all safety protocols under the advice of my doctors.

"Requesting everyone who came in contact with me to get tested immediately too.

"Grateful for all your love and support. Please stay safe and take care."

Shefali is set to star in the second season of the Netflix series 'Delhi Crime', which premieres later this month.

However, the actress recently insisted that she'll be very particular about her on-screen roles in the coming years.

She said: "I want to play leads and parallel leads, and when I say leads and parallel leads, what I mean is playing one of the primary characters.

"Unfortunately, I need to use the terms 'lead' and 'parallel lead' because our industry otherwise doesn't know anything better than this. And give me something worth my while, really. Don't say things like, 'We love your work and you're one of the finest,' and then come and give me something that is insulting. Don't do it. Please don't do it."

Despite this, Shefali insists she's keen to remain busy and "work with all kinds of directors" in the years ahead.

The Mumbai-born actress - who has won several awards during her career - told Filmfare: "I want to work, I want to work with all kinds of directors, I want to work on all kinds of stories."

Alison Brie and Dave Franco's marriage is 'all about communication'

Alison Brie and Dave Franco "make an effort to connect every day".

The 39-year-old actress and Dave, 37, have been married for five years, and Alison believes that good communication has been one of the keys to their romance.

Asked about the secrets to a happy marriage, she replied: "Communication. It's all about good communication."

Alison and Dave are determined to work as a partnership, and even when they can't be together, they always make the effort to stay in contact.

The actress told 'Entertainment Tonight': "I think that's why we try to work together so much, honestly, just so we can spend more time together. So we don't have to be apart so much.

"But even when we're apart, we really make an effort to connect every day, and that's important."

Alison is starring in the new romantic drama movie 'Somebody I Used to Know', which is being directed by her husband.

And the Hollywood star has relished the experience of working with Dave.

She said: "To me the best part is getting to experience all these other people on set realizing how incredible he is. I already know, [but] it's really fun to watch all the new eyes kind of take him in. And as a director, he is extraordinary."

Alison previously admitted to feeling closer than ever to Dave after the COVID-19 lockdown.

The movie star thinks the experience has been beneficial for their relationship.

Speaking about their lockdown experience, she shared: "It all really ebbed and flowed, I guess, because none of us knew how long it was going to last.

"Dave and I went through the first couple months in party mode, thinking we're on vacation - let's drink wine, let's make a lot of pasta. And then we like, it's going on for longer, so let's go into culinary experimental mode where we're trying to make new dishes and things like that.

"And then we got into health mode, and then we also were in creative mode, and we were doing a lot of writing together … So, I mean, I think we feel closer than ever."
