Mel C 'splits with boyfriend of seven years Joe Marshall'

Mel C is said to be single again after reportedly splitting with her boyfriend of seven years Joe Marshall.

The Spice Girl, 48, mum to 13-year-old daughter Scarlett with her ex Thomas Starr, was with music executive Joe, who is in his 40s, since December 2015.

He even became her manager and the couple moved in together in North London along with Scarlett and his two children.

But a music industry source said on Sunday to The Sun (07.08.22): "Mel has an incredibly busy career between her book deal, DJ'ing and other plans.

"The little free time she does have is devoted to her daughter Scarlett, and that doesn't leave much time for a relationship."

The insider added the split was "amicable" but stressed Mel was "not afraid to be single if she thinks it's for the best".

Mel and Joe are known for keeping their relationship relatively out of the spotlight, despite living and parenting together.

She said about him in a 2016 interview with Closer: "He challenges me but respects and loves me. I don't think I've ever been in a relationship where someone has got my back."

Talking about her breakup with ex Thomas in 2012, Mel admitted her daughter provided the drive behind the split.

She told Radio 4's Desert Island Discs: "I make big decisions. Leaving her dad was hard but I wasn't happy and she wasn't happy, and it wasn't the environment I wanted my child to grow up in."

Magnum PI actor Roger E Mosley dead aged 83

Actor Roger E Mosley, best known for his role in the iconic TV series 'Magnum P. I.', has died aged 83.

His daughter confirmed he had passed away at the weekend on her Facebook page, but no cause of death was given.

Announcing the news, Ch-a Mosley posted a tribute to her father alongside a picture in his 'Magnum P.I.' prime and a more recent snap of the actor.

Telling how he was surrounded by family when he died on Sunday morning (07.08.22), she said: "Roger E. Mosley, my father, your friend, your 'coach Mosley' your 'TC' from Magnum P.I., passed away at 1:17am.

"He was surrounded by family as he transcended peacefully.

"We could never mourn such an amazing man. He would HATE any crying done in his name. It is time to celebrate the legacy he left for us all.

"I love you daddy. You loved me too. My heart is heavy but I am strong. I will care for mommy, your love of almost 60 years. You raised me well and she is in good hands. Rest easy."

Mosley was known for his portrayal of Theodore 'TC' Calvin on the original Magnum PI series of the 1980s, which starred Tom Selleck.

His character ran a helicopter business and was often on hand to get Tom's private eye character out of high jinks on the Hawaiian island.

Along with his eight year, 158-episode run on 'Magnum P.I.' he also had credits in series such as 'Love Boat', 'Starsky and Hutch', 'Walker, Texas Ranger', 'Kojak' and 'The Life and Times of Grizzly Adams'.

His film appearances included 'McQ' with John Wayne, 'The Greatest', and 'A Thin Line Between Love and Hate' with Martin Lawrence.

Before his death, Ch-a had recalled lessons she had learned about her father that she said made her smile.

They included him having a "little bag filled with Starbucks gift cards that he gives to people who've done good".

Ch-a added: "'Magnum P.I.' has been off air since 1988 (though it remains in syndication). He still gets fan mail from his role as 'TC.' He's inspired SO people on an international level and until this day they send autograph cards and things for him to sign.

"While times are tough now, the life he's led is unbelievable for a black boy raised in Watts, Ca."

Jane Fonda: 'Jennifer Lopez saved my career'

Jane Fonda credits Jennifer Lopez with resurrecting her career after she went 15 years without landing a role.

The 84-year-old made the admission while speaking about her decades-long career as an actress, activist, and fitness guru.

Despite her iconic status, Jane said it wasn't until her role alongside J-Lo, 53, in 2005 film 'Monster-in-Law' that her career again got off the ground.

Even though it was sneered at by critics, Jane amazingly deemed the movie the "only smart thing" she has ever done in her work career.

Before it, she had not starred in a movie since 1990 when she played the title character in 'Stanley and Iris' alongside Robert De Niro.

The two-time Academy Award winner was quoted in the Daily Mirror saying: "The biggest stroke of luck was getting the role in Monster-in-Law at a point in my career when I had been out of the acting business for 15 years or more.

"It was with Jennifer Lopez, and it was a great comeback for me. I was almost 65 years old when I got this script out of the blue.

"It was the only smart career thing I ever did. I thought, 'People are going to come to the movie to see J.Lo, but they'll rediscover Fonda', and that's what happened."

After the role alongside Jennifer, Jane landed parts including that of Nancy Reagan in 'The Butler' and Grace Hanson in Netflix's 'Grace and Frankie'.

Jane has also said that she feels more youthful aged 84 than she ever did in her 20s.

She admitted that she felt "lost" when she was younger and was "very unhappy, old and didn't feel like I would live for very long".

But she has said she regrets having a facelift in a battle to maintain her youth.

Jane admitted she is "not proud" of the operation and wouldn't put herself through it again, telling Vogue: "I had a facelift and I stopped because I don't want to look distorted. I'm not proud of the fact that I had one.

"Now, I don't know if I had it to do over if I would do it. But I did it.

"I admit it, and then I just say, okay, you can get addicted. Don't keep doing it. A lot of women, I don't know, they're addicted to it."

Rita Ora and Taika Waititi fuelling speculation they have secretly married

Rita Ora and Taika Waititi are fuelling speculation they have secretly married.

Rumours started after 'Thor' director Taika, 46, was seen sporting a wedding band on Friday. (06.08.22)

In an Instagram snap shared by Rita's sister Elena, which appears to have been deleted, he could be seen sporting the gold jewellery on his left finger as he enjoyed a drink in the sun.

Rita, 31, meanwhile also uploaded the same shot to her Instagram - but added to the wedding rumours by covering Taika's hand with her caption.

The image also now appears to have been erased from her feed.

It was reported in June the couple were to wed after they almost simultaneously popped the question.

They were said to be planning an imminent, low-key ceremony abroad before celebrating with their celebrity friends at a huge London party later this year.

It was understood Rita, who is working on several films and 'The Voice Australia, and Taika, who is planning several films, hoped to tie the knot once their work commitments have wrapped up.

A friend previously told The Sun: "This isn't about them doing a big showy thing and crowing about it beforehand. It's just about them being in love and deciding the time is right to formalise their relationship. They couldn't be happier.

"They didn't do a whole, 'Will you marry me?' thing and an Instagram post.

"There's no ring or big build-up. They just got closer and closer and eventually said to each other almost simultaneously, 'I want to marry you.'"

In August, the couple, who began dating in March 2021 after meeting in Australia, were said to be moving so fast in their relationship they started discussing marriage.

One insider said: "Taika calls Rita 'wifey' all the time and chats about how he's going to be her first and last husband.

"Everyone around them downplays it as flirty banter, but Rita is definitely hoping he's for real."

Rita had reportedly started joking about getting married in a "quick, hippy-dippy" Californian ceremony and celebrating later with a party for loved ones and friends.

Taika was previously married to film producer Chelsea Winstanley, but the pair are believed to have quietly split in 2018.

The pair share two daughters, Te Hinekāhu, 10 , and six-year-old Matewa Kiritapu.

Rita's exes include Bruno Mars and Rob Kardashian, as well as Calvin Harris, A$AP Rocky, Travis Barker and Andrew Garfield.

Teresa Giudice gets married

Teresa Giudice has got married.

The 'Real Housewives of New Jersey' star tied the knot with Louie Ruelas after two years of dating at a romantic ceremony at the Park Chateau Estate and Gardens in East Brunswick, New Jersey, on Saturday (06.08.22).

The bride wore a white mermaid gown with a silver tiara as she walked down the aisle to 'Ava Maria', while the groom donned a white jacket with black trousers and bow-tie.

A source told 'Entertainment Tonight': "He had vows but spoke from his heart. She read her own vows."

Fans will get to hear the vows for themselves as the outlet reports the wedding was filmed for a Bravo special, which is expected to air after the 13th season of 'Real Housewives of New Jersey'.

Guests at the wedding did not include fellow Housewife Melissa Gorga - who is Teresa's sister-in-law - and the bride's brother, Joe Gorga, or Teresa's former best friend, Dina Canton.

The 50-year-old star - who has daughters Gia, 21, Gabriella, 18, Milania, 16, and Adriana, 13, with first husband Joe Giudice, and is now stepmother to Louie and ex-wife Marisa DiMartino's sons Louie Jr. and Nicholas - got engaged in October last year while on vacation in Greece.

Louie wrote on Instagram at the time: "You are the LOVE of my life, my best friend, my soulmate [heart emoji]

"I promise to always love you every second of every day and always be there for you and your 4 beautiful daughters.

"I devote myself and my purpose in life to our goals and dreams. I am so grateful to walk this life with you not alone but together hand in hand until we are old.(sic)"

Teresa previously expressed her belief that her late parents had brought Louie to her.

She said: "I was at the Jersey Shore, where I rented a house for six weeks and he rented a house.

"He's never been at the Jersey Shore before. He rented a house for a week, and he was leaving the shore house and that's how we met … at the same street I talked to my parents to ask them to send me someone amazing.

"I said, 'Ma, Papa, send me someone that is everything that you ever wanted for me. And everything that I want,' and I put it out in the universe. I really did. Everything I wanted. A couple of weeks later. I walk by, and I see Louie."

President Joe Biden tests negative for COVID-19

US President Joe Biden has tested negative for COVID-19.

The 79-year-old politician first revealed he had contracted the virus on 21 July but after a five-day course of treatment, he was showing negative, only to contract a rare "rebound" case days later.

However, his physician, Dr Kevin O'Connor has announced the president has received another negative test but will continue to isolate away from his staff until he undergoes another test.

The medic wrote: "In an abundance of caution, the President will continue his strict isolation measures pending a second negative test."

The White House doctor previously explained that the President had returned four consecutive negative tests before recording a positive result last Saturday (30.07.22).

Biden addressed the nation after leaving isolation earlier that week and claimed that he was "feeling great" after having the disease due to combination of vaccines and the anti-viral drug Paxlovid.

He said: "I got through it with no fear. A very mild discomfort because of these essentials, lifesaving tools.

"And guess what, I want to remind everybody: They are free. They are convenient, and they are safe, and they work."

But four days later he returned to isolation.

He announced: "Folks, today I tested positive for COVID again. This happens with a small minority of folks.

"I've got no symptoms but I am going to isolate for the safety of everyone around me.

"I'm still at work, and will be back on the road soon."

The doctor had previously told how effective the Paxlovid treatment had proven for the president.

He wrote in a statement: "President Biden completed his fourth full day of PAXLOVID last night. His symptoms have now almost completely resolved. When questioned, at this point he only notes some residual nasal congestion and minimal hoarseness.

"His pulse, blood pressure, respiratory rate and temperature remain absolutely normal. His oxygen saturation continues to be excellent on room air. His lungs remain clear."

Tom Daley wants to advocate for LGBT change in sport

Tom Daley feels an obligation to use his platform to fight for LGBTQ+ rights.

The 28-year-old diver is happily married to director Dustin Lance Black, 48, and is determined to bring about change in the Commonwealth, where homosexuality is illegal in 35 of the 54 sovereign states.

Tom is not competing in this year's Commonwealth Games but has instead been working on the BBC documentary 'Illegal to Be Me', after being inspired in his mission at the 2018 Games in Australia.

He said: "I was competing in the Commonwealth Games, I had just won a gold medal and was sitting having a burger with my husband and my mum. It dawned on me that I don't have to worry about the ramifications of that. I thought about how fortunate I am. Because in over half of the Commonwealth countries that are competing, it is illegal to be queer.

"That was when I started researching how that can be campaigned against and what can be done in the world of sport to help influence that. Because sport has a real power for change."

Despite his fame, Tom admitted standing up for LGBTQ+ rights, can be "scary".

He told Big Issue magazine: "I guess 21 years of diving has got me to a place where I can start to fight for other people. I am not going to lie, it is a really scary thing. But there are certain people that cannot stand up for themselves or do not have the platform to stand up for themselves. Once I realised that what I said had some kind of weight behind it, I felt like it was my obligation and responsibility to use my platform and my voice to lift up the voices of the people who otherwise wouldn't be able to get into the room. I started travelling around the Commonwealth - speaking to athletes and advocates from Pakistan, Jamaica, Nigeria, Tonga, Singapore and asking what they thought the Commonwealth could do better."

The Olympian praised Lance - with whom he has four-year-old son Robbie - for educating him on LGBTQ+ issues.

He said: "Lance, my husband, has been a massive influence in terms of teaching me about LGBT history. Lots of people my age and younger are completely ignorant of LGBT history - and if a younger generation starts to get complacent with rights, they will be shipped away again. We're at a pivotal moment. If we get complacent now, we could be going very far backwards - especially when you look at what the United States is doing [on abortion rights]."

Winona Ryder's boyfriend thought she was Milla Jovovich

Winona Ryder's boyfriend thought she was Milla Jovovich when they first met.

The 50-year-old actress thinks it is "amazing" that fashion designer Scott Mackinlay Hahn - who she has been dating since 2011 - isn't involved in the same industry as her but his lack of knowledge about Hollywood led to a funny mishap.

She told Britain's Harper's Bazaar magazine: "We have a lot in common. We connected on so many levels. But it was amazing that's he's not in this business. I did really try to keep it quiet.

"He thought I was Milla Jovovich. He told me I was great in 'The Fifth Element'."

The 'Stranger Things' actress recently admitted she "wasn't taking care" of herself after she split from Johnny Depp in 1993, but an "incredible therapist" urged her to imagine being more gentle towards a younger version of herself, which helped.

Referring to her 1999 movie 'Girl, Interrupted' - which is about a young woman in a psychiatric hospital - Winona said: "That was my 'Girl, Interrupted' real life.

"I remember, I was playing this character who ends up getting tortured in a Chilean prison [in the 1994 drama 'The House of the Spirits'].

"I would look at these fake bruises and cuts on my face [from the shoot], and I would struggle to see myself as this little girl. 'Would you be treating this girl like you're treating yourself?' I remember looking at myself and saying, 'This is what I'm doing to myself inside.' Because I just wasn't taking care of myself."

Winona is thankful for the support she received from her 'The Age of Innocence' co-star, Michelle Pfeiffer, at the time.

She said: "I remember Michelle being like, 'This is going to pass.' But I couldn't hear it.

"I've never talked about it. There's this part of me that's very private. I have such, like, a place in my heart for those days. But for someone younger who grew up with social media, it's hard to describe."

Britney Spears and Sam Asghari hit back at Kevin Federline

Britney Spears is "saddened" after her ex-husband publicly revealed their sons haven't seen her "for months".

The 'Gimme More' singer has spoken out in response to an interview given by Kevin Federline, in which he claimed sons Sean Preston, 16, and Jayden 15, had "decided" they didn't want to see their mother or attend her recent wedding to Sam Asghari, and suggested the teenagers were embarrassed by her revealing Instagram posts.

Britney has now responded via her Instagram Story, admitting the comments were "hurtful".

She wrote: "It saddens me to hear that my ex husband has decided to discuss the relationship between me and my children … as we all know, raising teenage boys is never easy for anyone … it concerns me the fact that the reason is based on my Instagram … it was LONG before Instagram … I gave them every thing … Only one word: HURTFUL … I'll say it … My mother told me 'You should GIVE them to their dad' … I'm sharing this because I can … Have a good day folks!!!"

Sam has also hit out at Kevin over his comments, branding him "irresponsible" and insisted there was "no validity" to his claims.

He shared a statement online which read: "To clarify my wife has never posted a nude selfie except of her butt which is quite modest these days. All other posts were implied nudity which can be seen in any ad for lotion or soap.

"There is no validity to his statement regarding the kids distancing themselves and it is irresponsible to make that statement publicly."

The fitness trainer went on to take a swipe at Kevin for having not "worked much in over 15 years" and questioned why the former dancer had praised Britney's estranged father, Jamie Spears, and backed her being under a conservatorship for so long.

He continued: "The boys are very smart and will be 18 soon to make their own decisions and may eventually realize the "tough" part was having a father who hasn't worked much in over 15 years as a role model.

"I do not know him personally and have nothing against him aside from choosing to vilify my wife. His character is revealed by approval of the cruel 13 CShip and his loyalty to Jamie indicates his approval at time of conception as well.

"Things that are now considered normal issues and behaviour were magnified to justify a 13 year prison sentence. Anyone approving of it is wrong or benefiting from it somehow. I will not comment on this matter again except to say I have a job."

In an interview for ITV News released by the Mail on Sunday newspaper, Kevin - who also has Kori, 20, and Kaleb, 18, with Shar Jackson and Jordan, 11, and Peyton, eight, with wife Victoria Justice - claimed he "didn't feel comfortable" with some of his ex-wife's recent behaviour.

He said: "The boys have decided they are not seeing her right now. It's been a few months since they've seen her. They made the decision not to go to her wedding.

"There were a lot of things going on that I didn't feel comfortable with. They tried to give her the benefit of the doubt but at the same time, I can tell that sometimes, it hurts to be in that position."

The 'Circus' singer was placed under a conservatorship governed by her father Jamie in 2008 following a public breakdown and - while the ruling was reversed by a Los Angeles court in 2021 thereby giving Britney control over her multimillion-dollar fortune and other aspects of her life - Kevin argued that the arrangement actually "saved" her life.

He added: "I saw this man that really cared, and really cares about his family and wanting everything to be OK,. When Jamie took over, things got into order. He saved her life."

Khloe Kardashian splits from mystery boyfriend

Khloe Kardashian has split from her mystery boyfriend.

Back in June, the 38-year-old reality star - who is mother to four-year-old True with ex-boyfriend Tristan Thompson and welcomed a son with him via surrogate on Friday (05.06.22) - was said to be dating a private equity investor but has now reportedly called things off so she can "focus" on motherhood.

A source told E! News: "[Khloe's new relationship] has slowly fizzled out over the last few weeks. She is enjoying being single with her sole focus on being a mom and her work and is open to finding love again if the right person comes into her life, but is really happy right now. She is not looking and in no rush."

Khloe s also said to have "fully moved on" from her relationship with Tristan there is "no chance" of a reunion even though she has split from her mystery boyfriend.

The source added: "There is no chance of reconciliation [with Tristan]. Khloe has fully moved on and has been very clear in that."

While it has not been confirmed who the Good American founder was dating, Khloe - who was also married to Lamar Odom from 2009 until 2013 - was said to have been introduced to the mystery man by her older sister and 'Kardashians' co-star Kim, 41, and back in June.

At the time, a source said: "Khloe is feeling really good with her new mystery man!"

Meanwhile, news that Khloe and Tristan had welcomed a second child via surrogate was confirmed by PEOPLE, but the rep did not share any other details with the outlet.

The news of the surrogacy was announced last month, with a rep saying: "We can confirm True will have a sibling who was conceived in November.

"Khloé is incredibly grateful to the extraordinary surrogate for such a beautiful blessing. We'd like to ask for kindness and privacy so that Khloe can focus on her family."

Tristan also has son Prince, five, with his ex Jordan Craig and son Theo, eight months, with Maralee Nichols and Khloe admitted that she had opted for to have a baby via surrogate after being told that there was an "80-something per cent chance that [she] will miscarry" .

Kim Kardashian is not getting back together with Kanye West

Kim Kardashian is not getting back together with Kanye West.

The 41-year-old reality star - who was married to rapper Kanye, 45, from 2014 until 2021 and has North, nine, Saint, six, Chicago, four, and Psalm, three with him - split from 'Saturday Night Live' alum Pete Davidson, 28, after nine months of dating earlier this week but an insider quashed rumours that she is reuniting with her former husband.

A source told E! News: "The divorce is still moving forward. They are happily co-parenting."

Another source went on to claim that 'The Kardashians' star is in a "really great place" with her ex-husband but alleged that although she participated in promotion for his Yeezy fashion line with Adidas, there is "no sign" of them getting back together.

The insider said: "[Kim and Kanye] are in a really great place. Kim was happy to be asked to be a part of the campaign with the kids and to support Kanye in this way, but it's not a sign of them getting back together. They are fully aligned in making their kids their priority."

The claims come just one day after it was reported on Friday (05.08.22) that the SKIMS founder - who was declared legally single back in March 2022 - had called it quits with Pete - who had been shooting a movie in Australia in recent weeks - because their hectic schedules had made it "difficult" for them to stay together.

A source said: "Kim and Pete have decided to just be friends. They have a lot of love and respect for each other, but found that the long distance and their demanding schedules made it really difficult to maintain a relationship."

Dolly Parton launches new rollercoaster at Dollywood

Dolly Parton is launching a new rollercoaster at Dollywood.

The 76-year-old country icon opened the amusement park in her native Tennessee back in 1986 and announced on Friday (05.06.22) that a brand new ride called The Big Bear Mountain will be launching in 2023 at a reported cost of $25 million.

Alongside a video teaser of the new ride, the Dollywood company tweeted: "Join Ned Oakley in Spring 2023 on our largest family adventure yet: Big Bear Mountain. This multi-launch coaster contains 3,990 ft. of track, expanding Wildwood Grove with a six-acre ride. Prepare for things to get BIG by watching our exclusive first look at ride animation."

According to a press release, the Big Bear Mountain ride will feature "three separate launches, multiple airtime hills, high-speed carousel turns, and tunnels, including a pass behind a waterfall" and the 'Jolene' hitmaker took to social media herself to express her "excitement" that fans will be able to travel the Smoky Mountains themselves via the ride while referencing her 1994 song 'Smoky Mountain Memories.'

She tweeted: "The Smokies are all about adventure and going exploring. I'm excited our guests will be able to head out on their own trip into the Smokies to see if they can find that Big Bear. Whether he's out there or not, I'm sure they'll find a lot of memories along the way that they'll keep forever."

Meanwhile, Dollywood president Eugene Naughton explained that the ride was "family-friendly" and described it as being "comfortable fun."

He told Knoxville News Sentinel: "If you're going to be the No. 1 family attraction in the United States, your product needs to be family-friendly. So, within this ride called Big Bear Mountain, I like to call it comfortable fun."

The Big Bear Mountain roller coaster is officially set to open in Spring 2023.

Abbi Jacobson and Jodi Balfour are engaged

Abbi Jacobson is engaged to Jodi Balfour.

The 38-year-old actress - who has been dating 'Bomb Girls' star Jodi, 35, since 2020 - is reportedly set to tie the knot with her girlfriend after being spotted on the red carpet sporting a ring on her finger at a premiere on Thursday (04.08.22), according to Entertainment Tonight.

The 'Broad City' actress later shared the images to her Instagram stories, but did not comment on the supposed engagement publicly.

The pair were attending the premiere for 'A League of Their Own', with Abbi choosing to wear a floor-length red dress whilst Jodi opted for a long pink dress with one white boot and one red boot.

The supposed engagement comes just under a year after the pair first announced they were dating in October 2021 and had kept it secret for a year.

Alongside a snap of them both, Abbi wrote on Instagram at the time: "One year with this incredible human. Don't know how I got so lucky . [heart emoji]"

Back in 2018, Abbi - who has previously dated the likes of Carrie Brownstein and Ilana Glazer - revealed that she "goes both ways" and insisted that any potential partner has to be funny and pursue something they are passionate about.

She said: "I kind of go both ways; I date men and women. I date men and women. They have to be funny, doing something they love. I don't know--I've never really been interviewed about this before. Yeah, who knows? The world is my oyster!"

Selena Gomez will quit Hollywood to become a mom

Selena Gomez will quit Hollywood to become a mom.

The 30-year-old actress and singer revealed her plans to eventually "peace out" of a life of showbiz and spend her time on philanthropy and raising kids.

Speaking on the 'Giving Back Generation' podcast, she said: "I hope to be married and to be a mom.

"Eventually, I'm going to be tired of all of this, so I'm probably just going to devote most of my life to philanthropy before I peace out."

And, Selena revealed that her eight-year-old half-sister Gracie Teefey made her want to have children of her own.

She said: "She puts things in perspective. I have to basically watch this little person grow into a human being. There's no better feeling in the world. I kind of feel like a parent in a way, even though I'm not.

"It's so rewarding to just see that life was so simple at one point. I want to enjoy life the way she enjoys life."

Meanwhile, it was recently revealed that Selena is in talks to produce a reboot of the 1980s rom-com classic 'Working Girl'.

According to Deadline, the 'Only Murders in the Building' star is in final negotiations to revive the 1988 Mike Nichols flick, which starred Melanie Griffith, Harrison Ford and Sigourney Weaver.

The critically-acclaimed blockbuster told the tale of Tess McGill (Melanie Griffith), a secretary whose idea is stolen by her boss, only for her to steal it back by pretending she has her boss' job.

The screenplay is being adapted by Ilana Pena, who is known for her work on Disney+'s 'Diary of a Future President'.

It's reported that the reboot could be released on Hulu.

At the time of writing, there is no director attached or cast.

It's not known if the 30-year-old singer-and-actress will have a role in the film as well as producing.

Beyonce and Madonna's Break My Soul remix

Beyonce and Madonna have joined forces for a 'Break My Soul' remix.

The 40-year-old singer has dropped 'The Queens Remix' of 'Break My Soul' featuring snippets of Madonna's 1990 hit Vogue.

Imitating Madonna's classic spoken-word section of 'Vogue' Beyonce name-drops iconic Black women in music, including Aaliyah, Nina Simone and her own sister, Solange Knowles.

She also gives a shoutout to Madonna, 63, singing: "Queen Mother Madonna, Aaliyah, Rosetta Tharpe, Santigold, Bessie Smith, Nina Simone, Betty Davis, Solange Knowles. Lauryn Hill, Roberta Flack, Toni, Janet, Tierra Whack. Missy, Diana, Grace Jones, Aretha, Anita, Grace Jones."

This is the first collaboration between Madonna and Beyonce.

Beyonce had already surprised fans by releasing four different versions of her 'Break My Soul' earlier this week.

The first song on the four-track EP is a three-minute 58 seconds will.i.am remix of 'Break My Soul', while US DJ Terry Hunter provides a five-minute 30-second version.

A six-minute 27 seconds Honey Dijon remix is the third song, and the final one is a mammoth nine-minute 54-second Nita Aviance Club Mix.

The release came after fans spotted Beyonce - who released seventh studio album 'Renaissance' last week - appeared to have removed samples of two Kelis tunes from one of the new album's tracks, 'Energy', on some streaming platforms, just days after Kelis accused the 'Crazy in Love' hitmaker of using them without her approval.

It comes after Beyonce also removed an offensive term for disabled people from the lyrics of the song 'Heated'.

The multi-Grammy winner announced the move earlier this week, after it was called "ableist" and "offensive" by disability charities and activists.

In the tune - which was co-written with rapper Drake - Beyonce used a derogatory term for spastic diplegia, a form of cerebral palsy, in the lines: "Spazzing on that a**, spaz on that a**."

A representative for the musician revealed the lyric would be changed, saying: "The word, not used intentionally in a harmful way, will be replaced."

Willow Smith defends dad's Slapgate scandal

Willow Smith has defended her dad's infamous Oscars slap.

The 21-year-old said it is part of "humanness" to make errors after the 53-year-old actor stormed the stage of this year's Academy Awards to whack stand-up comic Chris Rock, 57, for making a joke about his wife's haircut.

Singer Willow told Billboard in an interview published Friday (06.08.22): "I see my whole family as being human, and I love and accept them for all their humanness.

"Because of the position that we're in, our humanness sometimes isn't accepted, and we're expected to act in a way that isn't conducive to a healthy human life and isn't conducive to being honest."

Chris made a gag about 50-yaer-old alopecia-sufferer Jada Pinkett Smith's bald head, comparing it to GI Jane's buzzcut.

Willow said the spotlight thrust on her family in the wake of her father's slap did not impact her as much as her "own internal demons."

Her remarks come a week after her dad took to social media to issue yet another apology for his "unacceptable" behaviour.

Smith said in a video: "Disappointing people is my central trauma. I hate when I let people down, so it hurts psychologically and emotionally to know that I didn't live up to people's image and impression of me.

"The work I'm trying to do is I am deeply remorseful, and I'm trying to be remorseful without being ashamed of myself.

"I will say to you, Chris, I apologize to you. My behaviour was unacceptable, and I'm here whenever you're ready to talk."

Chris has made it clear he is not ready to sit down with the 'Fresh Prince of Bel-Air' actor.

He's only briefly addressed the scandal during some of his comedy shows.

An insider told Page Six last month Smith's latest sorry was "too little, too late."

Anne Heche left severely burned and intubated in hospital after fiery car crash

Anne Heche has been left severely burned and intubated in hospital after a fiery car crash.

The 'Vanished' actress, 53, was reportedly driving her blue Mini Cooper on a suburban street in Los Angeles around noon when she smashed into the garage of an apartment complex.

According to TMZ, witnesses tried to help Anne out of the vehicle, but she allegedly backed up and drove off before crashing into another home where her car became "engulfed" in flames.

A bottle with a red cap was seen in the car's cup holder shortly before the accident.

Aerial shots of video from the accident show smoke billowing out of the home in which she crashed into.

Sources told TMZ Anne is currently intubated in the hospital, but "expected to live".

One added: "Her condition prevents doctors from performing any tests to determine if she was driving under the influence of alcohol."

Famed for her high-profile romance with Ellen DeGeneres in the 1990s, Anne spoken openly about her previous battle with substance abuse.

"She told ABC News in 2020: "I drank. I smoked. I did drugs. I had sex with people. I did anything I could to get the shame out of my life."

She added her hedonism was a result of her painful childhood that stemmed from being sexually abused by her father, Donald Heche.

Anne added: "I'm not crazy. But it's a crazy life. I was raised in a crazy family and it took 31 years to get the crazy out of me."

Rosie O'Donnell hits back at teenage daughter for branding her upbringing abnormal

Rosie O'Donnell has hit back at her teenage daughter for branding her upbringing abnormal.

The comic, 60, is embroiled in a public TikTok spat with 19-year-old Vivienne over her comment, with Rosie pledging online to "tell some secrets" about her offspring in revenge.

Rosie said in TikTok videos posted on Thursday (04.08.22) and Friday (05.08.22) she thought she was totally normal and nice while bringing up Vivienne.

She asked in a clip posted on the platform on Thursday: "Vi Vi, what do you mean I didn't do anything normal?

"I did normal things. I'm normal. I'm totally normal. Jeez, Viv, I'm going to tell some secrets about you!

She put a caption on the video that said: "Love your vibe with your Moms."

In another video on Friday she said: "A hater? Come on, I thought I was pretty nice. I didn't think I was hateful at all. Just my review of the progarmme. That's all. Bye bye."

Vivienne, the youngest of Rosie's four children that she adopted with her 55-year-old ex-wife Kelli Carpenter, from whom she split in 2007.

They also share sons Parker, 27, and Blake, 22, and daughter Chelsea, 24.

O'Donnell adopted her fifth child, daughter Dakota, nine, with former partner Michelle Rounds in 2013 before her partner died of an apparent suicide in 2017 aged 46.

In her back-and-forth with Vivienne on TikTok, Rosie took issue with the teen's claim she "never" followed parental protocols.

She said on Thursday that while she said was grateful to her mum, it was not a normal upbringing.

She said: "No offense, Mom. She just didn't really inform us about really anything.'

"She has done so much for me, and I'm so incredibly, incredibly thankful for her, but one thing she's not done is normal.

"At my birthday parties, this beautiful woman would always come, and I was like, 'Yeah, there's Mo.' I never had any idea who the f*** she was. Then I find out it was Madonna all these years."

She added that it was the "same thing with Oprah (Winfrey)" as she continued to complain about not being made aware she was being surrounded by A-listers.

It comes after Rosie was left stunned in in 2020, when Vivienne revealed in front of her mother she had been drugged and assaulted.

The pair were filming a TikTok video when she made the revelations, with Rosie look on in surprise and dismay.

Rosie recently went 'Instagram official' with new girlfriend Aimee, 43, after five months and became a grandmother this year when her eldest daughter Chelsea welcomed a child in February.

She and Chelsea have also feuded publicly over the years, with the actress saying after they made up in 2018: "I think with my relationship with my daughter, Chelsea, it really has because we went through some really public troubled times.

'Sh''s doing better now and we're both communicating with each other. When somebody does something unforgivable to you and you can forgive them and they can forgive you, there's a kind of grace that descends upon the both of you, within that."

Doja Cat reveals why she shaved her head

Doja Cat shaved her head because doesn't like having hair.

The 26-year-old singer revealed she is "obsesesd" with her new look and has no plans to grow her hair out.

Speaking to fans via Instagram Live, she said: "I feel like I was never supposed to have hair anyway. I, like, don't like having hair.

"I never liked having hair. I cannot tell you one time, since the beginning of my life, that I've ever been like, 'This is cool'. I just do not like to have hair."

Doja Cat also admitted that she felt "so f****** exhausted when working out [and wearing wigs], which were sliding and peeling off my head".

She explained: "I would be working out, but I couldn't focus because I was more concerned about how I looked. Or how my hair was doing, and how to keep it adhered to my scalp."

And she wishes she had taken the plunge to shave her head years ago.

She said: "I just can't believe that it took me this long to be like, 'Shave your f****** head'."

Meanwhile, Noah Schnapp recently revealed that he had issued an apology to Doja Cat after he shared their private messages.

The 'Stranger Things' star told how he said sorry to the rapper after he posted a screenshot of their DMs, in which she asked him to set her up with his co-star Joseph Quinn, on TikTok, but she was "totally OK with it" after their conversation.

He told Variety: "Yeah, I mean, look, I'm super unserious on social media and pretty goofy, so I posted that not thinking too much of it, but obviously it hurt her feelings.

"So, as I should, I said sorry and she was totally OK with it, and was like, 'I'm sorry how I reacted.'

"It was all good. I love her. I'm like the biggest fan of her music, and I told her that. I was like, you're literally my role model. It's all good.

"People make such a big deal out of everything when it's on the internet, but, like, in reality, it's like a two-minute thing."

It comes after Doja branded the 17-year-old actor - who plays Will Byers in the Netflix show - a "weasel" in a foul-mouthed rant after he shared their DMs.

She posted on Instagram: "I'm just gonna say something right now, about the whole f*****g Noah Schnapp thing. I think that ... to be fair, let's try to be chill about it. Like Noah is a kid, but, I don't even know how old he is, but he can't be over - like there's no way he's over 21.

"But when you're that young, you make mistakes. You do dumb s**t. I'm like trying to be super fair. You do dumb s**t, you say dumb s**t, you f*****g, f**k up relationships with people. You make mistakes.

"Like you're supposed do that so that you know you're not supposed to do that in the future. I did my share of f**k ups so that I don't f**k up again.

"But the fact that Noah did that, like went and posted a private conversation between me and him is so unbelievably socially unaware and whack. That's like borderline snake s**t, that's like weasel s**t."

Keke Palmer thinks child stars are 'exploited'

Keke Palmer has "trauma" from being a child star.

The 28-year-old actress - who began her career when she was nine and was nominated for a Screen Actors Guild award at the age of 10 - believes being a child entertainer is "really exploitative" because the young performers are not yet aware of their own "limits".

She told The Guardian newspaper: "I think performing in general is exploitative. I think that being a child entertainer is really exploitative, because you don't even know your limits yourself.

"And a lot of what you later envision as a memory is actually trauma."

The 'Nope' star recently hit out at Twitter comments comparing her and Zendaya - which suggested the 'Eiphoria' star has been more successful because she is lighter skinned - and she's insisted she just "ignores" being subjected to colorism.

She said: "It's difficult. I'm asked about it a lot, you know? Before that little tweet even came out." She tries again. "People would always ask me: 'How do you deal with colorism? How do you deal with being Black in this industry?' And the answer I'm gonna give you may not be the answer that you want. Because the truth is, I ignore it. I ignore it."

Keke believes she should be celebrated for her accomplishments, not seen as a victim.

She said: "I just hate when the narrative goes to a place where I think young girls might look and say: 'I'm a victim.' When yes, racism is real. Colorism is real.

"You believe I'm not doing enough, not because I'm not but because you don't believe that I can be enough. And that is colorism.

"You should actually use me as an example of what I was able to accomplish despite what I was up against. Don't change the story of somebody who has given hope to make them hopeless.

"The real conversation around colorism and Keke Palmer should be that she defied the odds."

John Lennon's scathing letter to Sir Paul McCartney up for sale

A scathing letter from John Lennon to Sir Paul McCartney is going up for auction.

The late Beatles legend - who was shot dead in 1980 - wrote to his former bandmate days after the 'Live and Let Die' hitmaker gave an interview critical of him and the Beatles to now-defunct music magazine Melody Maker in November 1971, and it is now expected to fetch at least $30,000 when Gotta Have Rock and Roll auction it off, TMZ reports.

The typewritten letter - a copy of which was sent to Melody Maker editor Richard Williams, who complied with John's request to publish it - sees John tell Paul he is ungrateful for the money he receives from The Beatles and even accused his the musician of threatening their former bandmate Ringo Starr and his wife Maureen.

It read in part: "It's all very well playing 'simple, honest old' human Paul in the Melody Maker, but you know damn well we can't just sign a piece of paper.

"You say 'John won't do it.' I will if you'll indemnify us against the tax-man!'…

"As I/we've said many times - we'll meet you whenever you like. JUST MAKE UP YOUR MIND…

"You said under no condition would you sell to us, and if we didn't do what you wanted, you'd sue us again and that 'Ringo and George are going to break you John', etc., etc.

"Now I was quite straight with you that day, and you tried to shoot me down with your emotional 'logic'.

"If you're not the aggressor (as you claim), who the hell took us to court and s***t all over us in public?...

"Who's the guy threatening to 'finish' Ringo and Maureen, who was warning me on the phone two weeks ago? Who said he'd 'get us' whatever the cost? As I've said before - have you ever thought you might possibly be wrong about something?"

Elsewhere in the three-page letter, the 'Jealous Guy' hitmaker urged Paul to meet him without lawyers present, berated him for being indecisive over the band's split, which had occurred more than a year before the note was written, and took issue with his estranged pal's criticism of his song 'Imagine'.

The note ended with a postscript in which John referred to Paul mentioning leaving their wives, Linda McCartney and Yoko Ono, out of the dispute.

He wrote: "The bit that really puzzled us was asking to meet WITHOUT LINDA AND YOKO. I know you're camp! But let's not go too far! I thought you'd have understood by no that I'm JOHNANDYOKO."

Offset sued over 2020 car crash

Offset is being blamed for a 2020 car crash.

The Migos rapper is being sued for auto-negligence by Mercury Insurance Company after his car was involved in an accident near the US 101 freeway in Encino, California on 11 November 2020.

Offset was allegedly driving a 2018 Dodge Charger, which the firm alleged he or another individual was operating negligently, resulting in a collision with a 2019 Honda Civic being driven by Silvestre Cruz Gutierrez, who was also carrying passenger Maria Salina Lopez.

The insurance company also alleged Offset's vehicle was uninsured.

They said in documents obtained by RadarOnline.com: "The insurance policy described above-included collision coverage, insuring the Honda for damages sustained."

Mercury told how Gutierrez's vehicle was "damaged, destroyed, depreciated, diminished in value, and necessitated repairs and towing charges in the sum of $10,605.73" and noted "the owners of the Honda were deprived of the use of their said vehicle to their damage in the sum of $1,090.27."

Lopez sustained severe bodily injuries and emotional distress, "all of which caused and will continue to cause great physical and mental pain and suffering, resulting in temporary and permanent disability, and a loss of earning capacity, causing a loss earnings, and requiring her to incur obligations for medical expenses and other special damages."

The insurance company paid the policyholder $26,696 - including $15,000 to Lopez - and they want Offset to be ordered to pay them the full amount, plus interest.

The 30-year-old rapper isn't short of cash as he and wife Cardi B recently gave their daughter Kulture $50,000 for her fourth birthday.

In footage shared by Offset on Instagram last month, the youngster was filmed arriving at sweet exhibit Candytopia asking for cotton candy and she appeared with the cash in the window of an SUV.

She then said she had a "ticket" - a million dollars in slang - but her dad corrected her.

He said on his Instagram Story: "It's a ticket? A ticket is a million, girl. That's 50. Say 50."

Kulture's 10-month-old brother Wave was also present on the family day out.

The couple are known for their extravagant gift-giving and previously bought Kulture an $8,000 Birkin bag for her second birthday and a $48,000 one when she was three.

Quentin Tarantino hails Top Gun: Maverick 'terrific'

Quentin Tarantino was spellbound by 'Top Gun: Maverick'.

The legendary filmmaker - who has been a long-time stan of the late original 'Top Gun' helmer Tony Scott and worked with him on the 1993 classic 'True Romance' - admits he never expected a sequel to the blockbuster 1986 action drama to see the light of day, let alone three decades later.

But he was blown away by Joseph Kosinski's flick.

Speaking on the 'ReelBlend', he said: "I f****** love 'Top Gun: Maverick.' I thought it was fantastic.

"I saw it at the theatres. That and [Steven] Spielberg's 'West Side Story' both provided a true cinematic spectacle, the kind that I'd almost thought that I wasn't going to see anymore. It was fantastic."

The 'Pulp Fiction' director applauded Kosinski for respecting Scott's original movie.

He gushed: "There was just this lovely, lovely aspect because I love both Tony Scott's cinema so much, and I love Tony so much that that's as close as we're ever going to get to seeing one more Tony Scott movie.

"[Director Joseph Kosinski] did a great job. The respect and the love of Tony was in every frame. It was almost in every decision. It was consciously right there, but in this really cool way that was really respectful. And I think it was in every decision Tom [Cruise] made on the film."

He said: "It's the closest we're ever going get to seeing one more Tony Scott movie, and it was a f****** terrific one."

However, he did have one issue, branding Tom Cruise (Pete 'Maverick' Mitchell) and Val Kilmer's (Tom 'Iceman' Kazansky) reunion "almost too cheap."

Nonetheless, he added: "But it absolutely works. It's a bit like Charlie Chaplin dying on stage for the last scene of 'Limelight'… but it f****** works. You're waiting for it and the f****** scene delivers."

Angelica Ross is first trans actress to play Roxie Hart in Chicago

Angelica Ross is set to become the first transgender actress to play Roxie Hart in 'Chicago'.

The 41-year-old 'Pose' star will make her Broadway debut in the long-running musical later this year, playing murderous vixen Roxie for eight weeks from September 12.

Actresses who have previously played Roxie include Pamela Anderson, Melanie Griffith, Christie Brinkley, Marilu Henner, Brooke Shields and Lisa Rinna.

While Angelica can't wait to get started, she admitted the announcement was bittersweet as it came on the same day that US basketball star Brittney Griner was sentenced to nine years in a Russian prison after being found guilty of narcotics possession and smuggling for bringing cannabis-infused vape cartridges into the country.

Angelica tweeted: "This day is full of mixed feelings for me! I want to celebrate being on Broadway, but I don't feel like celebrating with #BrittneyGriner sentenced to 9 years in prison. This world is messed up. She doesn't deserve this."

The 31-year-old basketball star - who normally lives in Houston, Texas with wife Cherelle Griner - was arrested on suspicion of drug smuggling in Russia just days before the country launched the ongoing invasion on Ukraine and has now been found guilty and sentenced to almost a decade behind bars.

However, her lawyers told PEOPLE that the verdict was "absolutely unreasonable" and intend to appeal the decision.

Brittney - who is also said to have been fined the equivalent of $16,600 for the offence - was found to have taken less than one gram of cannabis oil into the country and insisted her actions were "inadvertent" but she decided to plead guilty.

She said: "That's why I pled guilty to my charges. I understand everything that's been said against me, the charges that are against me and that is why I pled guilty but I had no intents to break any Russian [law]."

James Franco set to play Fidel Castro in Aline of Cuba

James Franco is set to star as Cuban leader Fidel Castro in Miguel Bardem's 'Alina of Cuba'.

The 'Disaster Artist' actor has landed the role with the blessing of Castro's daughter, Alina Fernández Revuelta, who the upcoming movie is about.

She defected to Spain and was a strong critic of her father, who died in 2016, aged 90.

Mía Maestro will play Natalia 'Naty' Revuelta, the socialite Castro has an affair with.

Ana Villafañe was previously cast as Alina.

As reported by Deadline, the film "follows the true-life story of Cuban exile turned social advocate, Fernandez, whose birth was the result of the tryst between Revuelta and Castro. Revuelta sacrificed her and her physician husband's personal belongings and finances to help fund the start of the communist revolution. Fernandez learned that she was Fidel Castro's daughter at the age of 10 when after years of secret visits to her home, her mother finally revealed that 'El Comandante' was her biological father. Alina grew to become one of Castro's most outspoken critics, arrested on more than one occasion for trying to leave, and was classified as a dissident forbidden to travel outside of Cuba. Ultimately, she defected to Spain in 1993, an event that drew headlines from every major news network around the world, before she made Miami her permanent home."

The script comes from Jose Rivera and Nilo Cruz.

John Martinez O'Felan, the project's lead creative producer, said: "Since the inception of the film, our focus has been to produce an artistic piece of modern Hispanic history, with the vision for the project as being truly inclusive through uniting actors and creatives from both intergenerational and recent Latin roots from the US, Latin America, and the world. That said, casting Ana and Mia were no-brainers because, besides the trajectory of their past work, one represents modern Cuban-America and the other Argentina. After watching Ana's reel and auditioning her, it became evident she was perfectly suited and had a great voice to carry the material, and Mia's work in the past with Jose spoke for itself and screamed writer/actress reunion."

The casting of Castro was a "challenging process" and Franco was chosen for having a "similar facial structure" to the late Cuban revolutionary.

The producer added: "Finding and convincing James Franco to play Castro, was a fun and challenging process and has been the collaborative work of the universe, because our director's original order was to find an actor who holds a close physical resemblance to the real Castro to build from, along with finding someone Alina Fernandez would strongly endorse. To get there on such a tough look to cast, we used Fidel Castro's ancient Galician heraldry as our focal compass, and then combed through the entire ranks of actors with Latin roots in Hollywood to find someone who has a similar facial structure. In executing a close search into our hopefuls through the eye of Spanish and Portuguese genealogy which the Galicians held, we found that James, by far, had the closest facial likeness of our Industry's leading actors, meaning that the focus would be to build out his character accent and we'd have a stunning on-screen match to intrigue audiences and bring the story to life with true visual integrity. Altogether, working with such a supportive and exciting cast has been a true blessing to our team and project."

Filming will take place in Cartagena and Bogota and kick off on August 15.

John Legend and Kanye West are not friends anymore

Kanye West's support of Donald Trump proved "too much" for his friendship with John Legend.

The two musicians used to be close friends but the 'All of Me' hitmaker admitted his pal's public backing for the controversial former president, as well as the 'Stronger' rapper's own run for office means he has stepped away from his pal and they don't have the bond they used to.

Speaking on 'The Axe Files' podcast, John said: "Well, you know, we aren't friends as much as we used to be because I honestly think because we publicly disagreed on his running for office, his supporting Trump, I think it became too much for us to sustain our friendship, honestly."

Explaining how Kanye was upset not to get his support when he ran for president, John added: "I wasn't alone in that, but, you know, he was not happy about that. And we really haven't been close since then."

But the 43-year-old singer still respects the way his former friend lives his life with honesty.

He said: "I think he's been very open with who he is and his struggles with mental health. And he's very real, honestly. So I think there's not a lot about him that people don't get.

"Like he's been pretty upfront with his opinions, his struggles, all the things that he's dealing with. And I think what you see with him is pretty much what you get."

John recently reflected on how the 'Jesus Walks' rapper - who legally change his name to 'Ye' last year - helped him hone his craft by producing songs with him for his 2004 debut 'Get Lifted' and "connecting" him other industry heavyweights, such as Rick Ross.

He said: "I've just been collaborating with so many dope artists throughout my career. I started with Kanye at G.O.O.D. Music and our whole thing was bringing hip hop and soul together. So I was on a lot of his tracks...a lot of tracks he was producing for other people...he was producing my tracks and connecting me with other people in hip hop so there's always been a lot of collaborations in my background. I've done a thousand tracks with Rick Ross, worked with so many great MCs over the years.

"I've just always thought collaboration was a great way to make music and when we do it together it can be better than when we do it separately. So I've just always had that spirit and that energy and I love working with dope people and we definitely did that with this album."

Ronda Rousey suspended from WWE

Ronda Rousey has been suspended indefinitely from WWE.

The 35-year-old wrestler received the ban for attacking an official at WWE SummerSlam in Nashville over the weekend, after she lost the women's title match to Liv Morgan.

A message on WWE.com stated: "Following her attack on referee Dan Engler at SummerSlam, Ronda Rousey has been fined an undisclosed amount and will be suspended.

"An irate Rousey attacked the official after her SmackDown Women's Title Match, claiming he missed Liv Morgan tapping out to the Armbar while he counted the pinfall.

"Due to her suspension, Rousey will not appear on this week's Friday Night SmackDown."

Video of the incident shows Rousey grabbing referee Dan Engler by the arm and flipping him over her shoulder.

She pinned him down and did not let him go until another official intervened.

Rousey is believed to have been furious after Engler appeared to fail to notice Morgan tapping out.

Ronda shared some images from the fight against Liv on Instagram and wrote: "Hey @wwe if you guys could stop screwing me to put over your golden girls at every major ppv that'd be greaaaaaat."

Liv replied: "Hahahahahahhah this is hilarious."

Jimmy Fallon's dream Tonight Show guest is Queen Elizabeth

Queen Elizabeth is wanted by Jimmy Fallon for an appearance on 'The Tonight Show'.

The late-night talk show host has claimed he and the team have approached the 96-year-old monarch to join him on his show and would even bring the programme to her in England.

Speaking to 'Entertainment Tonight' about his dream guests, he said: "We put word out to the Queen.

"Whenever she wants to come on the show … if she wants to play beer pong, she wants to do whatever she wants to do."

"We'll go to her. "Whatever Her Majesty wants we will do."

The 47-year-old television personality insisted the show is "very welcoming" and they make sure to put everyone at ease no matter how "goofy and silly" they get.

He added: "Our show's very welcoming, and always fun, and just goofy and silly.

"Everyone knows you have nothing to worry about on our show. We have great writers and you just gotta come [and] be free, be able to do sketches."

It might prove challenging getting Her Royal Highness on the US show, as she's recently scaled back public appearances due to episodic mobility issues, while she quit overseas visits in 2015.

What's more, the queen's job description was recently rewritten, reducing the list of obligations she "must fulfil" and placing greater emphasis on the support of the wider royal family.

According to the Sovereign Grant report - which is signed by Keeper of the Privy Purse Sir Michael Stevens - the queen's role still includes two key elements, Head of State and Head of Nation.

The "formal constitutional concept" of Head of State previously had a 13-point list of duties the queen "must" undertake, including the State Opening of Parliament, paying and receiving state visits, and the appointment of the Prime Minister.

However, the new version offers a more loose definition, simply noting the queen's role "encompasses a range of parliamentary and diplomatic duties" and noting only that she "receives" other visiting heads of state.

The symbolic role of Head of Nation is carried out "where appropriate or necessary" and focuses on her inspiring "unity and national identity" and "continuity and stability", recognising the "achievement and success" of others and ensuring "support of service" from volunteers to the emergency services and the military.

The changes came amid the ongoing mobility problems Elizabeth II has been experiencing in recent months.

The "Queen's programme" of engagements has been swapped for more general "visits in royal programmes".

The documents also note: "The Queen is greatly assisted by other members of the Royal family who undertake official duties on behalf of Her Majesty."

A palace source emphasised that it was not a "drastic" change, but a small update.

Prince Charles - the first in line to the throne - has frequently been undertaking engagements on behalf of his mother.

Lady Gaga is to star in 'Joker: Folie à Deux.'

The 36-year-old superstar will take on reportedly take on the role of henchwoman Harley Quinn opposite Joaquin Phoenix in the title role of the musical sequel to the DC Comics movie 'Joker' and took to Instagram on Thrusday (04.08.22) to confirm the news.

Alongside a video of the trailer, Gaga captioned the post: "Joker: Folie à Deux, 10.04.24."

In the background of the video, a laugh could be heard alongside an instrumental of the Frank Sinatra hit 'Cheek to Cheek'.

The 'Poker Face' hitmaker - who has found success in the acting world with acclaimed roles in blockbusters such as 'A Star is Born' and 'House of Gucci' - previously admitted that she had "something in mind" when it comes to creating her own musical and explained that when it comes to acting she will always want to tell the stories of women.

She said: "I do have something in mind for [a musical] , but I'm not going to reveal it. I think I'll always tell the stories of women because I am a woman and women have so many stories to share. Women are powerful, and women are vulnerable. And to be vulnerable and strong at the same time, I think, is a special thing."

The Clown Prince of Crime's notorious first lady has previously been played by 'Barbie' star Margot Robbie - who took on the role in the 2016 movie 'Suicide Squad' and 2020's 'and Birds of Prey' - while 'Big Bang Theory' actress Kaley Cuoco provided her voice in the HBO Max animated series 'Harley Quinn.'

'Joker: Folie à Deux' is due for release on October 4 2024.

Rick Ross jokes he was refused entry into Buckingham

Rick Ross quipped that all is forgiven after he was refused entry into Buckingham Palace.

The 46-year-old rap legend recently made a visit to the grand gates of Queen Elizabeth II's residence while in London, but his superstar status wasn't enough to persuade one of the 96-year-old British monarch's guards to let him inside.

He joked: "Alright so y'all saw me go to Buckingham Palace. I pulled the homie to the side and told him you know, who I was, the Biggest Bawse. And for one of the first times in a long time that didn't get me in. It didn't get me through the gates."

He then quipped that he "forgave" the "homie" that didn't let him in after being offered to pick his own lobster.

On his Instagram Story, he joked: "I didn't get to sit at the table.

"But what he did do was refer me to a spot and they said they'd be waiting on me and I can pick the lobster I wanted to eat so I forgave him."

Meanwhile, despite his wealth, Rick previously insisted he is "not about throwing money away" but wants to enjoy his money in the right way.

He said: "Through the window, I am looking out of right now in the Southwest Ranches, I can see my red-on-red 458 Ferrari, and it is inspiring.

"The work is inspiring, but it can drain you. So while I want people to understand that everything is possible, you have to separate yourself and find balance."

And the 'Purple Lamborghini' star loves picking up a bargain.

He said: "I don't have a big jet. I try my best to fly Delta. I love swap meets and antique stores. I love finding beautiful things that cost $8 or $20."

Brad Pitt doesn't have a 'serious girlfriend'

Brad Pitt is casually dating, but doesn't have a "serious girlfriend".

Earlier this year, the 58-year-old Hollywood star was reported to be dating Lykke Li but insiders dismissed the claims that he and the 36-year-old singer had taken advantage of the fact they live close to one another to enjoy an under-the-radar romance and maintained the pair are just friends.

And now, it's been claimed Brad is still on the dating scene and "enjoying" getting to know people from "different walks of life".

An insider told E! News: "He enjoys getting out and socialising, but does so very privately.

"He is enjoying people from different walks of life and is inspired."

The source added: "He goes on dates, but does not have a serious girlfriend."

The 'Bullet Train' actor - who has six children with ex-wife Angelina Jolie - was previously linked to German model Nicole Poturalski, and has retained a friendship with her.

A source earlier this year: "He still keeps in touch with Nicole [Poturalski]."

'Being the Ricardos' actress Alia Shawkat has also been romantically linked to the 'Fight Club' star and she previously reflected on the "weird" rumours about her and her friend.

She said: "It came in hot and left as fast as it came in. It happened during COVID, and I was alone with it. It was so weird. Now it's like a weird dream, where I'm, like, 'Did that happen?'"

And Alia found it particularly funny that Brad had no idea about the rumours but apologised to her for the attention the speculation had brought.

She said: "He had no awareness of it at all. Which is so funny. Because he doesn't read that s***. I was like, 'You know everyone thinks we're dating? And there's this whole thing, and I'm being followed.' And he was, like, 'I'm sorry. It happens. If you hang out with me, it happens.' He had no awareness of it at all."

Queen Elizabeth's childhood friend Lady Myra Butter dies

Queen Elizabeth's close childhood friend Lady Myra Butter has died.

The 96-year-old British monarch's dear friend, a cousin of her late husband Prince Philip, passed away "peacefully" on July 29, a notice of her death confirmed in The Daily Telegraph newspaper.

A descendent of Tsar Nicholas I of Russia and playwright Alexander Pushkin, Butter remained close to the queen.

Last year, Butter shared fond memories of growing up with the 96-year-old royal and their days of swimming and being the Brownies and Guides.

She said of their swimming lessons: "The Queen said it's a very long time ago.

"Well, it jolly well is, I think I was 12. I'm rather lucky in that department. My memory is good and so is hers."

She added: "They got hold of some girls to be part of the thing to make it more fun.

"In the Guides and the Brownies it was a real mixture, which was really nice, some friends, friends of [the family], and all the people in the royal mews, their children, they were Brownies and Guides. Just a normal sort of pack really."

Butter said her lifelong friend has a "very good sense of humour, which has gone on for all her life."

The Duke of Edinburgh - the longest-serving consort of a British monarch - passed away in April 2021, aged 99.

Months after her husband's death, the queen mourned the loss of two of her ladies-in-waiting.

In December last year, she lost Ann Fortune FitzRoy, the Duchess of Grafton, who served as the monarch's Mistress of Robes - a role which put her in charge of all matters relating to the queen's jewellery and clothes, as well as arranging the rota of attendance for ladies-in-waiting, and other duties at state ceremonies - from 1967 until her death on December 3, 2021, aged 101.

Diana Maxwell, Lady Farnham, who was the queen's lady of the bedchamber for 34 years, was 90 when she passed away on December 29.

The monarch spoke about personal heartbreak during her Christmas speech.

She said in her TV message to the nation: "Of course for many, this time of year will be tinged with sadness - some mourning the loss of those dear to them and others missing friends and family members distanced for safety, when all they really want for Christmas is a simple hug or a squeeze of the hand.

"If you are among them, you are not alone, and let me assure you of my thoughts and prayers."

Kevin Spacey ordered to pay 31m to House of Cards bosses

Kevin Spacey has been ordered to pay 'House of Cards' producers $31 million.

The 63-year-old actor was dropped from the Netflix series in 2017 after being accused of sexual misconduct by multiple young men and he was later sued by programme makers MRC for breach of contract after they said he had violated the company's sexual harassment policy, and on Thursday (04.08.22), a Los Angeles Superior Court judge ordered him to pay £29.5 million in damages and an additional $1.5 million in legal fees and costs, People magazine reports.

When MRC first took action against Spacey - who they alleged cost millions in lost profits after they were forced to remove him from the show and cut its sixth and final season short by five episodes - the disgraced star's lawyers filed an opposition asking for the motion to be set aside.

They argued: "The truth is that while Spacey participated in a pervasive on-set culture that was filled with sexual innuendoes, jokes, and innocent horseplay, he never sexually harassed anyone.

"In fact, as the evidence established and the Arbitrator recognized in the Award, the few times Spacey was told that his conduct made someone feel uncomfortable or was in any way unwanted, he stopped."

But the production company quietly won the arbitration award in 2020, with the ruling coming to light in November the following year when MRC filed a petition in civil court to confirm the award.

Spacey's lawyers disagreed with the findings of the arbitrator - who ruled MCR had a right to the money, which should be paid by the 'American Beauty' actor and his companies M. Profitt Productions and Trigger Street Productions - as they argued external allegations against their client couldn't be considered because Netflix were unaware of many of the claims when they fired him from the show.

They wrote: "As the Arbitrator recognised, the reduction in episodes was a foregone conclusion once Netflix dictated to Petitioners that Spacey could not and would not be a part of Season 6.

"But what the Arbitrator ignored is that the conduct he found to be in breach of the Agreements was not even known by Netflix at the time it made this decision. In other words, the breaches found by the Arbitrator could not have been related to Petitioners' damages because those damages had already been caused by the time the breaching conduct was known."

MRC are happy with the outcome at the Superior Court.

Their attorney, Michael Kump, said: "We are pleased with the court's ruling."
